I love the geek squad!
I can’t tell you how many times the Geek Squad has saved me over the years!!!
I love the Geek Squad I actually have two memberships due to our growing amount of electronics LOL
I am SO lucky that my husband is my geek squad. When it comes to computers and gadgets he’s amazing. It’s saved me a lot of headaches and lost information. I love that man!
I’m thinking about giving them a call this weekend, because I can’t get my wireless router to work for the life of me! ~lol~
I’m pretty sure my laptop would be considered a dinosaur the way technology changes. So cool that there is a subscription service.
I suppose I should kep their number handy 🙂

My husband is really techy & so he’s usually able to fix whatever breaks, but we need to start referring our friends & family to the Geek Squad so they leave my husband alone & stop asking him to fix everything! 🙂

I would ask for a computer tuneup for my very slow desktop.
I need to figure out why my DVD burner doesn’t work.
On my desktop I need to figure out how to connect it to the internet (I have the software and hardware but I’m computer-stupid). On my laptop I need to know why it doesn’t work when I put in CDs or DVDs. It’s only about 7 months old and it doesn’t work, but since it’s the only way I have to access the internet, I don’t want to send it back for repair.
OH heavens I could use this! I would definitely need a tune up on my laptop!! Thank you for the chance!

Two maddeningly slow desktops with Windows XP. So many “processes” run at startup, we don’t know what they mean or what we could safely delete. When we run a registry cleaner, we don’t know what is safe to delete. Despite having McAfee and Norton and AVG and Windows Defender, scans keep saying we have “no virus protection installed”!!! Free trial version of Trend Micro blocks nearly every link from emails, saying “confirmed association with malware or malicious script.” Both bought used, and seem to have partial remnants of programs we don’t use, but again, we don’t know FOR SURE what is safe to delete! And we can’t afford to pay for help, we are seniors on very small income!
I would ask for help with my network.

I’m a huge fan of unscheduled time for kids so I’m really glad to see that listed here. So many of your ideas are things I did with my own kids and I miss it so much!

ah yes, I’d love to be that perfect parent to. It does not happen nearly as much as I would like it to though. You made some very valid points and tips here. I think we know KNOW what we need to do but it helps to read it to fully understand what we are failing at.
Also, I am in complete aw of your photography. You’ve come a long way!
