Our First Meal In Our New Home {Spaghetti Bolognese Recipe}

We finally moved. Finally. It took over a month longer than anticipated to renovate our new home, and at times it seemed like we’d be in limbo forever, without a kitchen, eating out every day, and squeezed into one little room. But we are finally here in our new family home, and we love it. […]

  • I have a few casserole dishes from Le Creuset and LOVE them!

Five Ways To Wear @Gap 1969 Slim Jeans For Men #DenimEvolved

What do you do when you’re married to a caveman who wears the same thing every day? How about buy him what you’d like him to wear? My husband always wears faded blue jeans, the kind that scream “cop!” but (as I’ve mentioned quite a few times) I always preferred a bit of a preppier […]

  • Those pants would be PERFECT for my fiancee! He likes to wear the same pants all the time, which would be fine if they weren’t worn out jeans that have an indent now from where his phone rests.

  • They look terrific on him! Never thought to shop there for the guy, but I sure do shop there myself!

  • Jenn

Hubs refuses to wear dress pants EVER so he needs a pair of these for church.

  • Wow, they really are versatile. My husband is a jeans guy also and I can’t remember the last time I saw him in any other kind of pant, lol.

  • I wonder if my husband would wear these.

  • Maryann

Not sure if my hubby would wear them or not.

  • I love that they can be dressed up or down! I think he looks great in them and don’t think my husband would mind this small, yet stylish, clothing upgrade.

  • Nice jeans! He looks great in them.

  • They look great. I bet my husband would love them.

  • Mellisa

What a great looking pair of jeans. I’ll have to pick up hubby a pair.

  • Donna

I love a pair of pants (for men or women) that are versatile… dress them up or down.

  • Those are great jeans! My husband used to wear horrid jeans, they were TAPERED! Agh! After 12 years, I’ve spent enough time shopping with him that he’s actually developed a personal sense of style and now does his shopping on his own. He shops for clothes more often than I do!

  • Those are some really great looks!

  • They are nice jeans!

  • They look nice. My husband can wear jeans to work so he is always looking for different styles.

  • Sheryl Mae

Those pants really look perfect on him! Perfect choice, Penelope.

  • he wears them well. very nice sleek and casual as well as dressy

  • I don’t think my husband would wear those – he is so picky! Yet, those look really fab.

  • Gap is the only jeans my husband will buy. Love the Gap!

  • He is definitely rockin’ those jeans!

  • The pants look great!

  • I love Gap but yet to ever buy the hubby anything from there.

  • Those are very nice!

  • Our hubbies sound similar.. I think I married a caveman too, who wears those blue jeans every day that he doesn’t work! My hubby won’t wear khakis, but they do look great!

  • Gap is one of my favorite stores for my husband and son!!

  • They seem like a good choice for a guy who prefers casual, but wants to “step things up” once in awhile. This way they still have the comfort of jeans.

  • Those are great. The boy have several pair of the 1969 Gap jeans and I love them.

  • I love all the versatility in Gap jeans!

  • these looks fabulous! I should get a pair for my fiance!

  • He looks very daper in those pants!

  • Leilani

At first when I read Slim Jeans, I thought “my husband would never wear those”. But while they’re slim, they’re not like women’s skinny jeans.

  • Those look great! I should get my man a pair!

  • I love how you can dress them up or down. That would be a hit with my husband.

  • Tammy

I love the quality of GAP clothing. My husband only owns one pair of jeans! He prefers khakis and that’s what 70% of his wardrobe is!

  • They do look good. I just know my husband wouldn’t like them.

Have A Hectic Schedule? How to Keep a Clear Head

I have a pretty hectic schedule. I take care of three men, and the smaller they are, the more they need from me. I’m the cook, maid, chauffer, nanny, and more, all rolled into one. The only difference is I get paid in kisses, and that works just fine for me ๐Ÿ™‚ (their kisses are […]

Small Steps For Better Health

It wasn’t until I became pregnant that I really started to commit to taking vitamins daily, and now they are a regular part of my life. I took prenatal vitamins for years (while pregnant and while nursing) and in addition to the many health benefits, found I loved how they made my hair and skin […]

  • the other day I had a vitamin get stuck in my throat these sound great

  • I really hate taking vitamins and also like Tricia,I’ve had them get stuck in my throat before. Once that happens I get upset and refuse to take them anymore. The Vitamelts would be perfect for me. I wish they had a multivitamin option though.

  • I’ve always tried to make healthy eating choices but still take my vitamins daily!

  • Maryann

Because of my son’s autism I have learned a lot about the human body and how supplements can make a huge difference in a person’s life. We use a lot of good quality supplements in our home.

  • Penelope

I was thinking the same thing!

  • Anjanette @MommaYoung

    That looks amazingly delicious.

  • Hoping my health foods store carries this brand!

  • Wow, that’s pretty neat. I have a good friend who does not like to swallow pills and this product would be perfect for her.

  • I really need to turn off the computer – OR TV – and go to bed earlier. Sleep is one of the things I really need to improve!

  • Mellisa

Vitamelts sound like a product that I could really use. I hate swallowing large pills.

  • Great tips.

  • Healthy snacks sound better than vitamins.

  • Thanks for the tips! I’ll definitely try to drink more water over soft drinks!

  • I just saw a commercial about Vitamelts last night, and I was going to come look it up today. It’s fate! ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for sharing!

  • I try to all of your tips, but chips sound much better than an apple to me. That’s a hard one!

  • I love the vitamelts. I have a bunch in the b12 and vitamin c!

  • Those are great tips to get healthy!

  • I take my prenatal now but after nursing I’ll need to continue – going to check these out! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • This looks tasty

  • That looks nice, I”m terrible about taking vitamins.

  • I’ve never heard of vitamelts. I’ll have to look for them.

  • I love my nature made!!

  • I have switched out unhealthy snacks for veggie chips and fruit and have switched from diet soda to water all the time.

  • I used to drink a lot of soda when I was younger, but only drink it once (usually a Sprite) in a blue moon. I can’t drink too much of it when I do, because it makes me feel sick. I also swear by vitamins. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I’ve been much better about taking my vitamins lately.

  • Jenn

Great tips. I was never an apple fan until I discovered Honeycrisps!

  • I take several vitamins daily including calcium, Fish Oil and a Daily. I am now eating healthier and quit drinking pop. I’m feel amazing!!

  • I love my vitamins and always include them as part of my personal health regime!

  • I need to be more mindful in choosing water over soda.

  • I love the Vitamelts! I don’t even mind taking pills, but they taste good &so it tricks me into remembering to take my vitamins because I want those little yummy melts!

  • Donna

I actually do all those things for the most part. I’ve been closing the lid to my laptop an hour earlier, actually, at least 3 nights a week, to spend 30 minutes alone time with my hubby, and getting to bed 30 minutes earlier. I’m working on making this a nightly thing. ๐Ÿ™‚ As for vitamins, I was great about taking them during my pregnancy and the year I nursed, but I am horrible at remembering to take them on a regular basis. :/

  • I love these, I will have to see if our store carries them. We are trying to get healthier as a family and head to the local basketball court and track to have some family fun time while getting exercise.

  • Apples are a great way to get the crunch of chips and get full in a nutritious manner!

  • I love Nature made. Thanks for the tips.
