How Do You Make Everyone Feel Better?

This post brought to you by White Cloud . All opinions are 100% mine. It’s a sniffly time of year; between the weather changing drastically from day to night (and day to day) and the start of allergy season, it seems everyone in this house has a perpetual case of a runny nose and the […]

    Love!

  • What a neat giveaway. It’s the little things that make having a cold bearable. A nice soft tissue really helps with the sniffles.

  • I drink a hot lemon drink!

  • Oh this sounds like a nice sweepstakes, thanks for sharing! We have been hit by the cold bug lately and going through our fair share of tissues!

  • LyndaS

I am so thankful that flu season will soon be over.

  • Sweet baby! I try to find soft tissues as well when my kidlets have sniffles!

  • I never heard of White Cloud tissues….

  • Jennifer The Quirky Momma

What a lovely and thoughtful idea! My warm, snuggly bed makes me feel better, along with sweet baby snuggles.

  • Donna

What do I do when I have a case of the sniffles? Plenty of tissues, chicken noodle soup, and a comfy bed. 🙂

  • My little one just got over the flu her nose was red the whole time.

  • Mellisa

Lot’s of snuggles when my little ones are sick.

  • I hat when my boys are sick. That comfort package sounds delightful though!

  • Aww! What a cutie! It’s hard when they are sick.

  • That picture is adorable.

  • I take garlic and turmeric supplements (I also sprinkle the spice on my food) I also drink a lot of tea – my favorite brand is Traditional Medicinals.

  • I hate when my family is sick, especially when it’s in the nose 🙁 I actually didn’t know White Cloud made tissue. I hope I don’t have to try it out any time soon but I’ll definitely be on the look out when the sickies come in our house

  • This is such a great giveaway!

  • Soup always helps! It’s so sad when they are sick!

  • Leilani

My poor 2yo has been telling me her nose is ‘broken’ because her ‘boogers are dripping’.

  • Hot tea!

  • the designs are adorable luv them

  • That IS a pretty cute nose!!

  • When I don’t feel well I soak in a hot bath, drink plenty of fluids and take supplements to help me recover faster.

  • We make a big ol’ pot of chicken noodle soup!

  • Such a cute pic and love white cloud.

  • Hot Tea by day, warm brandy by night…lol

  • I love the designs I bought two boxes today at Walmart

  • I love White Cloud products. When I get the sniffles, I usually make chicken noodle soup to feel better.

  • What a cutie!

  • My youngest has been battling a runny nose for weeks now. I hate trying to mop up the mess but she screams otherwise – not every tissue is created equally. Will be trying the White Cloud brand in the future.

  • I hate when the kiddos are sick! I always make sure we have plenty of soft tissues on hand!

Have You Started To Watch Your Figure For The Spring? #SkinnyDivine

Spring is coming, and getting in shape is big on the minds of many women; we want our figures to look great once the warm weather requires us to shed those extra layers of winter clothing. But are we ready? (Valentine’s and Easter candy isn’t exactly making it easy on us) Chocolate is a great […]

Tips For Getting A Great Night Sleep #DownyNightSleep

One of the most common things that elude most of us is a good night’s sleep, so having the opportunity last week to find out ways to achieve a night of blissful slumber at the Downy Sleep Fest at Penn Station’s Amtrak Station was one I didn’t want to pass up. I had the opportunity […]

Ha! I now have proof that clutter makes a difference. Hubs just thinks it’s me being OCD.

  • I love the smell of Downy! There are so many great tips here and I love your little one snoozing on your husband – too cute!

  • Penelope

Nope, you are right, and I’ve actually heard it before (from FlyLady)…if you have clutter, your mind is focused on needing to clean it up and you have trouble sleeping!

  • monique

I love the smell of lavender, but we can’t use it in our house. I miss it! I’ll have to check out zzzquil. Every once in awhile I’m too wound up to fall asleep naturally, and then I’m dead tired the next day because I was wide awake all night. Thanks for sharing that product!

  • I love the smell of lavender and downy

  • Ahhh I love her on Restaurant: Impossible!!

Okay I so need to remove clutter in my bedroom. Our room isn’t even that big and it seems to have too much in it! 🙂

  • Looks like you had fun!

  • Sometimes I have trouble falling asleep at night. Thanks for these tips.

  • Wonderful tips! I agree that removing clutter makes a difference. My husband doesn’t seem to agree!

  • That bed looks so comfortable. Our bedroom has calming purples, no clutter and tons of warm blankets. We also use lavender fabric softener. The scent is amazing. Hubby keeps asking me to buy the zzzQuil, hope it helps him!

  • I love how your son demo’d the importance of sleep 🙂

  • Mellisa

I have never had trouble sleeping but for some reason this past week I have! I am going to try this out and see if it helps.

  • Great tips! The thing standing between me and a good night of sleep is my 9 month old, lol.

  • Going to have to try some of this Downy. Who knew clutter could cause you to have trouble sleeping.

  • LyndaS

One thing I cannot live without is SLEEP.

  • Jennifer The Quirky Momma

I’ve noticed that when I think I have cutter, my brain is racing!

  • I need to try the lavender stuff … it’s nearly midnight and I am STILL awake.

  • Leilani

I LOVE Taniya! I always tell my husband if we ever win the lottery, I’m hiring her to help decorate our house!

  • I love watching her on HGTV.

  • I definitely need to make my room more soothing.. it’s not particularly cluttered, but it doesn’t have anything that promotes relaxation, either.

  • I love all of that purple!

  • We have a great mattress – got a $2000 mattress on sale for about $500 a few years ago during Macy’s Memorial Day sale. My sleeping issues have nothing to do with our bed. I wish it was that easy! We use Downy sometimes (when I remember to buy it) and I LOVE those Scentables in the laundry. Snuggling into a fresh-smelling bed makes it much easier to relax and fall asleep!

  • I feel like I sleep better in a clean room.

  • Mmm i love the smell of Downy. We have a dim light in the bedroom 🙂

  • Good Night Sleep? What’s that? I have a husband, a toddler, and an infant in my bed for a good part of the night. The girls will only be in my bed for a few hours but the hubby is still there. I need a bed to myself!

  • There is seriously nothing better than a good nights sleep. Great tips!

  • These are all really great tips.

  • Hubs does not understand my need to remove clutter in order to sleep. Thanks for the validation. LOL

  • I love Downy. It looks like you had a lot of fun.

Because Life Is Messy…

My son just spilled a cup of juice on the family room floor. This is unfortunately a common occurrence around here, so while I’m not happy right now, I’m used to it. In a house with three rambunctious (and somewhat messy) males, I know there is not much I can do about it but clean […]

  • I really like these paper towels. They work great for my cleaning obsession:)

  • I like the Bounty that is in half sheets!

  • With children, paper towels are a must have!

  • Tammy

I don’t use a lot of paper towels, I prefer cloths BUT I do like them for grease wipe ups, it’s nice to have something that can hold up to the grease but that you can toss right away and don’t have to wash.

  • I SO rely on paper towels and I’m using the Bounty pull apart ones now, but I’ll try these next!

  • I love a durable paper towel that can conquer any mess!

  • Donna

I don’t like to be wasteful, but paper towels are a must for me. And Bounty is the only kind I buy.

  • We love Bounty – won’t use anything else!

  • Mellisa

Bounty Paper Towels are great for cleaning up big messes.

  • I pretty much only use paper towels — dish towels gross me out!

  • I don’t regularly purchase paper towels but when I do it’s Bounty. If I’m going to spend money on a product to clean up messes, I want it to do the most effective job possible using the least amount of materials.

I’ll be the bad mom and publicly admit that I would spend 2-3 nights ALONE! Seriously, with four children between the ages of 5-18, three of them boys, I would love a few days off of laundry, cooking, cleaning and driving everyone around. I would sit in my room with a few good books, drink tea, wear my jammies all day and not touch my phone or computer once.

  • Jennifer The Quirky Momma

    OMG, me too! Let’s go!

  • Carolyn G

I want to spend Spring Break somewhere warm like Miami with my family!

  • Sonia
