Because Life Is Messy…

My son just spilled a cup of juice on the family room floor. This is unfortunately a common occurrence around here, so while I’m not happy right now, I’m used to it. In a house with three rambunctious (and somewhat messy) males, I know there is not much I can do about it but clean up the spills as they happen, and I’ve been a long time fan of Bounty paper towels as a result.

Confucius says, “Smart moms carry strong paper towels” (or this is what he would probably say if he were alive today), because life and families are messy, and it’s good to be prepared! This week I tried out Bounty’s DuraTowel, the new, thicker, improved, extra-durable paper towel for my life’s super messy moments (and I thought their regular, select-a-size paper towels rocked). Bounty DuraTowel paper towels are a cleaner alternative to reusable dishcloths: studies show that a fresh DuraTowel leaves surfaces 3 times cleaner than a used dishcloth (and since you obviously can’t use a dishcloth once and throw it in the laundry after every spill, you are usually spreading yuckiness and germs every time you reuse that kitchen dishcloth).

because life is messy

What do I use my Bounty DuraTowel paper towels for? Everyday cleaning up after a family and home, such as to:

  • clean up spills
  • dust the furniture
  • clean the oven (they hold together despite lots of rubbing on more stubborn spot)
  • clean the windows
  • I put one in each lunch box I package up as a napkin
  • and zillions of other uses

Bounty DuraTowel paper towels are also well-priced. I thought they’d cost more than what I’d normally spend, but nope, these more durable, versatile paper towels are a great deal too. They are just fabulously strong, feel like cloth, and I actually feel bad throwing them out after I use them. They are definitely more awesome than typical paper towels.

  • I like the Bounty that is in half sheets!

I don’t use a lot of paper towels, I prefer cloths BUT I do like them for grease wipe ups, it’s nice to have something that can hold up to the grease but that you can toss right away and don’t have to wash.

  • I SO rely on paper towels and I’m using the Bounty pull apart ones now, but I’ll try these next!

  • I love a durable paper towel that can conquer any mess!

  • Donna

I don’t like to be wasteful, but paper towels are a must for me. And Bounty is the only kind I buy.

  • We love Bounty – won’t use anything else!

Bounty Paper Towels are great for cleaning up big messes.

  • I pretty much only use paper towels — dish towels gross me out!

  • I don’t regularly purchase paper towels but when I do it’s Bounty. If I’m going to spend money on a product to clean up messes, I want it to do the most effective job possible using the least amount of materials.
