We got rid of our cable about a year and a half ago and just do Netflix and Hulu+. It’s a way cheaper alternative and my boys love the selection on Netflix. They can watch power rangers until their heart’s content. 🙂
I absolutely love Netflix and so does my entire family. We definitely get our money’s worth.

I think it’s fabulous that they have a sort of channel for kids. I’m so with you on that silly little monkey too. He’s adorable!
Thanks for sharing this. I had no idea there was a Netflix Kids. We downgraded to very basic cable and have none of the good kid channels, so this would be perfect for us!
We don’t actually stream any TV, unless we miss taping something on our DVR. There are still too many shows we enjoy watching that you can’t get on Netflix 🙁
We had Netflix for a long time but recently got rid of it due to some issues with freezing and them not figuring it out. Now we are talking about getting rid of expensive cable and trying them again. Love all the kids shows they offer!
My kids love Netflix. It is a part of their nightly bed-time routine.

We love Netflix. I’m currently watching their original series “Hemlock Grove”. It’s a bit out there, but I’m loving it!
My son is a diehard fan of Daniel Tiger. We watch the PBS lineup in the morning.
I like that – a lot. Wish that there was a version for my 18 year old.
I really like that you can view the Netflix Kids only section to avoid your kids accidentally viewing any inappropriate material. With three kids in the target age group, this would be a lifesaver.
This is such great news. We love our netflix and I’m so glad for more kid options.
We love Netflix. My youngest childs favorite show right now is Phineas and Ferb.
We use Netflix on a daily basis because we don’t have cable anymore. it just didn’t make sense to have cable when Netflix has almost everything we need. I love that they have the new Netflix for Kids area. My 8yo can login and she knows exactly what to look for and that everything in there is safe for her and her 3yo sister.
We love NetFlix around here!
All we watch is Netflix, but Yo Gabba Gabba wasn’t available today. Honestly if they cancelled it, I’m cancelling my subscription. It is my daughter’s absolute favorite.
It seems that they’ve change it a lot since the last time we had an account there. Seems like they’re offering some great shows for kids!
My son loves watching Netflix Kids- and we use Netflix all the time to find new shows. {&My son is Curious George obsessed!}
my 5 yr old is obsessed with Netflix and Batman, superheros I love that its available all day everyday and no extra cost even if you watch it all day long. I only wish they allowed it on more than 3 devices at once. we have 4 kids and they never all want to watch the same thing

I love Netflix for Kids, we have it on the Wii, computers and iPad and I don’t have to worry about the boys watching anything inappropriate.

That’s awesome that they look that great after just a week! Will you keep them in the container you have them in the whole time? I’d love to do some gardening, but we just don’t have room. If I could do them in containers or pots it might be a possibility.

Our garden (our first ever) is really starting to take off and it’s so awesome to watch! With the garden and getting our grout cleaned checked off the home improvement bucket list, I think redoing our banister is next!
These home improvements are additive, I tell ya 🙂 I want to do more and more, especially after seeing how easy they can be (and it makes me feel great when I do it myself, with my own two hands- I feel so capable!)

I wish it wasn’t too hot already here for a salad garden … can’t wait for fall to put one in! I have a few things in our garden but most of our time this spring has been spent building our coop. We are *thisclose* to having it finished!
We plan to build a huge planter box in our backyard in the next month or so! I’m so excited!

I’ve gotten a lot done in my yard but only have one more larger project planned this year… a veggie trellis hideout for my daughter and the dog. Of course the two of them will probably eat the produce before I can get to it…lol
