I don’t know that I could watch that – it would break my heart.
I like the fact that they have an open adoption and can stay in touch.
I like that she can still see the baby and it is not goodbye forever.

I really liked season 1 – such strong women!
I love that they are willing to share their love with another couple even thou it is so painful but thank goodness they allow her to have a small part in the babies life!

I loved the relationship between the birth mother and adoptive parents. It would be so difficult, I think, to maintain it, but so good for everybody involved…especially for Nayamah, of course.
I am glad that the birth mother had the courage and wisdom to allow her daughter to be adopted.

My favorite part is that she does not regret her decision and that Jamie has changed her life and that her children seem to have adjusted. I love that both families are working together to do what is best for everyone, they genuinely seem to be happy and comfortable together. I expect lots of moments of courage and inspirational stories from watching the new season. It is fabulous to see truly selfless acts.
I got teary when Jamie gets to visit her daughter in the adoptive family. This is just not what happened to one of my best friends, I love how both families stay in touch and get involved.
I love that both sets of parents had such a great relationship. This situation is difficult and having such a strong bond is essential
I love that it’s an open adoption. I am not able to have kids and I hope to one day be able to have a surrogate, so I can relate to this show, I love it
My favorite part was towards the end when they were visiting…was so touching to see Jamie talk about it and see grandma hold her and interact too. I can see how hard it was for jamie….yet she was so happy Nayamah had a good dad! Just brings tears watching!

i like that the mom got the 8 yr old daughter counseling, must have been hard on her like it was the mom

I love the level of maturity that Jaimie showed knowing she couldn’t handle one more child and knowing she wanted her baby to have a stable two parent home. The relationship is great between the two families and is so relaxed and they bring Nayamah to visit her birth mother and siblings and that Jaimie was wise enough to get her oldest daughter in counseling because she didn’t understand the adoption

I was appreciative of Jaimie standing by her decision, although very hard, and working on letting go, yes, it is long process. Being able to visit with Nayamah, to see her progress and to see how well she is being cared for, I think is beneficial to Jaime and to her family, Nayamah’s siblings. Touching episode.

Having been in the position, and putting up a baby for adoption, the whole show struck a chord with me – not just 1 specific part.
I like the way the adults decided to stay in touch so that everyone could remain involved.
I liked when the adoptive family and the birth mother still stay in touch. It would be hard for both sides I think. I don’t know if I could do it.

I would love to get Invisalign myself!
I sure wish Invisalign was an option when I wore braces. I rocked the metal for almost three years solid!

I have a friend who just finished her Invisalign treatment. When I first met her I had no idea she was wearing them. They really are THAT clear.
I’m definitely glad that kids have more options like this these days.
Many incidents I got into as a child, I’m very surprised that I never needed braces. That’s good that they’re now coming out with alternatives opposed to metal braces, though.

I just can’t get over how you can’t even see these on the teeth. I wish it had been around when I was a kid.
I would consider getting these for myself, unfortunately our insurance doesn’t cover enough of the cost to make them affordable for us.
I wish this had been an option when I was a kid. I had the metal mouth for 3 1/2 years. My oldest son is looking like he is going to need braces so we are definitely going to look into this.

I wish Invisalign were able to correct my teeth, but I’ve checked and I’m too complicated for the task!
I had braces when I was younger. No regrets other than not wearing my retainer long enough. Would love to get Invisalign now.
If it’s something you are interested in, they suggest getting a second opinion (apparently orthodontists who aren’t very skilled at using them sort of steer people away from them, but an Invisalign experienced orthodontist may have more insight)… from what I’ve seen of your lovely images, you don’t have anything out of their realm- I never even noticed any dental cosmetic problems, you always look fine to me.
I would have preferred this over braces for sure!

Metal braces, made of high-grade stainless steel and attached to the front of teeth, are the most common. Some patients may complain about discomfort from metal brackets rubbing against the skin. If you experience any pain or discomfort, ask your dentist or orthodontist for some dental wax to place over the brackets.
I didn’t need braces when I was a kid but if I had I would have definitely liked the invisalign.

I had to use dental wax myself because my metal braces sometimes caused me pain (but I’d rather not even have to do that- why get sores and bleed in the first place?)
If I’d needed braces as a kid, these would have been the ones I’d wanted.

I had regular old braces in middle school. I really wanted them until I got them, then they hurt! My daughter was disappointed that she doesn’t need either glasses nor does she need braces.

I need to make a trip to Home Depot to pick up some gardening things, but I’m going to wait until after my kids’ upcoming birthday party. My 3yo gets so excited every time we drive by Home Depot. The last time we were there she loved walking through the garden center.

Your lettuce garden is awesome! I’ve tried starting a garden but my dogs always eat anything I grow! LOL!
The kit really made it so much less intimidating, and I feel like in the future I’m able to try tackling it without a kit (I can reuse the kit in the future for just herbs, for example, and grow my lettuce in our backyard ground)

I have a backyard with great access to the sun. This year we are attempting to grow a couple tomato plants.

Those are so precious! We only did professional photos of our daughter once, when she was 3 months old. I wish we would have done it more, but I’m glad at least that we have those ones.

Ours is bursting at the seams – cloth diapers take a lot of space!
Even though my kids are no longer in diapers I still like to carry wipes in my purse. You never know when you will need them.
Love that you keep it to only the basics. Some people have super heavy diaper bags with loads of unnecessary stuff!
I usually don’t carry a lot in the diaper bag (just the necessities), unless my daughter is spending the night with my mother or mother-in-law. My handbag is a different story, though. ~lol~
Apps are a must have on the go!
Snacks, wipes, diapers, toys, and an extra outfit were always in our diaper bag.
I need to download some apps for Sweet T.
My purse is much more disorganized than yours but I do have wipes in there.

Oh man, I had wipes, my wallet, checkbook, lipgloss, chapstick, keys, diapers, carrot bum cream, about 3 outfits for both kids, toys, cell phone, cough drops.
I rocked a Coach diaper bag as well but also carried a separate purse for my own goodies. I needed all of the diaper bag space with three kids close in age!

I just keep a spare pair of leggings in my truck. My daughter has an accident about every 6 months while we are out.
I love being in this phase of life where I no longer need a diaper bag. I just throw a few diapers in my purse and I’m good to go. It’s awesome.
As the years are going by, my diaper bag essentials are changing. I will advise though that the most important thing to have in your diaper bag is wipes and diapers, and for that I always turn to Huggies!

Cute post. With my first son I had an actual diaper bag and though it was super cute and stylish, I found it to be so cumbersome…with my second son, I found this great purse that I loved and it was so great.
I no longer carry a diaper bag. It’s amazing at how much nicer they are these days. Huggies was one of my favorite brands for little ones.
