Last year my daughter made me breakfast in bed – it was cereal, toast (barely toasted), a half a banana, and coffee that was warmed up from yesterdays pot – all served on the cake pan lid. It was awesome!!!

My brother's birthday falls on Mother's Day this year (my birthday happens to be on Father's Day, as well) so we have fun plans when this happens. This is technically my first year as a (step)'mother', so I am really not sure what to expect! I suppose I'd like to spend the day with everybody at home, maybe doing something fun together. I would like to celebrate Mother's Day together as a family, which is difficult to do because we have two teenagers who have busy schedules.

Last year I made a video for my mom, telling her she was 'Mother of the Year', and sent it to her email address. She loved it! We also sent her a gift certificate for really wonderful, kind of expensive, local restaurant for her and my dad to enjoy. I couldn't be with her on that day, so this was the next best thing.

It will be a quite Mom's Day because I lost my Mom 8 months ago. My son and daughter will send flowers ,my son and his wife always get me chocolate covered strawberries and then we will all go out to dinner

Well it most likely will be like any other holiday or past mother's day, sitting at home no gifts, entering contest hoping to win.
My daughter is graduating from high school in June so she will be going to college locally because of money issues so money is tight.
I wish I could have all my family since they all live 1200 miles away join my daughter, my son and myself here and we could all spend the day at the beach and have a cook out

I just want to spend my mother's day with my beautiful baby boy and my husband. I don't care what we do or where we are as long as we are together. This will be my second mother's day as the mommy not just the daughter and I am so excited.

Last year I was a brand new mommy and I was still recovering from that, so I just spent it with my little baby boy. Unfortunately my husband had to work all day.
