I’m a big fan of Horizon milk…in our house, we use lots, in our coffee, cereal, etc. I always buy Horizon organic milk, especially since I’m still nursing and try to eat an all organic diet. I’ve been buying organic milk since I became pregnant, and found that Horizon is offered in most markets. After […]
According to my ParentingWeekly e-newsletter, little man shows the signs of being ready for solids…he holds his head up, he sometimes even sits up, his tongue reflex has almost disappeared entirely, and he is fascinated when he sees anyone eating. His pediatrician, however, reminded me that “Breast is best” and asked that we wait one […]

He is a good baby 🙂 I am totally enjoying this stage, don't want it to pass too quickly!
A substance found in breast milk can kill cancer cells, reveal studies carried out by researchers at Lund University and the University of Gothenburg. Although the special substance, known as HAMLET (Human Alpha-lactalbumin Made LEthal to Tumour cells), was discovered in breast milk several years ago, it is only now that it has been possible […]
Springtime is here- the grass is growing, trees are getting greener, and flowers are blossoming, which also means that allergy season is in full bloom. My husband has suffered from allergy symptoms for years and has tried some medications, but doesn’t always have luck (especially during a bad year like this one). I have read […]

Hi Penelope,
I found your blog through Charming the Birds from the Trees, and I’m so glad I did! I made Santa Fe chicken in the slow cooker yesterday and it was absolutely delicious, a real treat. My husband was so happy eating it! So thanks for a great and easy recipe and an inspirational and lovely blog.
Kind regards,Fiona

This is one of my husband’s favorites too. He loves Sante Fe chicken and Honey Mustard chicken more than any other type.

Wait, but how does it taste???
Delicious (I realized I put that smooshed somewhere in the middle of the 3rd paragraph, lol, so I'm restating it here)…it tastes really good.
I love Horizon too! You are right you get that at most stores. Though I never tried the chocolate falvor, I always assumed it had more calories than the regular. Does it?
I made that post on Thursday. It snowed here in Southern Utah. We had every single type of weather that day…sun, wind, thunder/rain, snow. It was crazy! Fortunately, today was a lovely, warm spring day!
