My Vols won Saturday, but I was at 2 performances of “Tom Sawyer (my son was Huck) and then the cast party, so I missed the game and the game day food… next Saturday, though. 🙂

We’re actually going out of town this weekend as we’re a little tired of BBQ.
I’m actually doing nothing on Labor Day weekend. We just returned from a very long and exhausting vacation so we’re staying home.
We actually have no Labor Day plans 🙁 Kids go back to school the day after Labor Day here so we try to keep things calm the night before the first day.
I hope to have lunch with some fantastic women on Labor Day. I hope you have a blast.

Sounds like it’s going to be quite a bash! Honestly, I don’t have any plans for Labor Day since it doesn’t seem like my family is going to be doing anything, so I guess it’s just a weekend for me to kick back and relax. 🙂

It looks like you’re going to have a delicious Labor Day! We will be celebrating with family and wishing summer a fond farewell with my dad’s famous pulled pork sandwiches.

I wish we were having a Labor Day cookout. I have an awesome new indoor grill coming soon though, so it looks like we will be able to enough Hebrew Nationals all winter long!

We just wrapped up a 13 show of “Tom Sawyer” at our children’s theatre with a cast party last night where we didn’t get home until almost 11pm. Today (Sunday) will be the first time in 2 months where we didn’t have either rehearsals or performances on a Sunday, so I’m not leaving my house. 🙂 As for Labor Day, my nephew is having a birthday party, so we’ll go to that. I’m sad that summer is over, though. But I’ll eat hot dogs anytime of the year. 🙂

We didn’t do anything today because unfortunately, my husband had to work 🙁 So it was just a nice chill day at home. I was planning to grill out just me and the girls but then the rain came through and ruined my plans.
My husband had to work so the kids and I just stayed at home and played around here.

Before I started blogging, I did a ton of survey and marketing projects online and I didn’t do half bad with making a little extra income. I can’t remember if that was one I used or not though! It’s been a few years.
I am about to start watching the DVD and read the manual that came with my camera. I think that is a great idea – the B&W editing. I must try it because my photos need a ton of work.

I adore black & white photography. My favorite photo ever is a professional newborn photo I had done right after Gav was born where I’m holding him. It is absolutely precious, in black & white.
I think the photos are fantastic! I wish I had time to study photography more, but between homeschooling three of the boys, driving two hours each day to take the other to school and trying to work, there just isn’t time left for me.
Those came out beautifully! I especially love the first shot with the fence being bright white yet you can still see the water droplets all over.

These pictures are absolutely beautiful! You sure have an eye for the right shot, Especially the sprinkler shot, it looks so dramatic for a summer’s day. I love the idea of learning to edit photos by starting with black & white, I think I might try that myself!
