  • This would be such a fun contest to win!

  • I would love to win a sweepstakes like this, at the same time I think I’d feel very out of my element in a setting like a red carpet event!

  • This would certainly be a once in a lifetime experience.

  • I’d bring my mom along so we could rock the red carpet together.

  • I’ve always wanted to walk the Red Carpets, its been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. Maybe it’ll happy one day, a girl can dream, right?

A Summer Of GoodNites And A Happy Tot

This post brought to you by GoodNites. All opinions are 100% mine. Little man has been wearing GoodNite Underwear for two months now, making for a wonderfully dry summer. He has been fully potty trained for over a year, but still had overnight accidents that were not related to potty training, so an effective overnight […]

    We are a goodnights family.

  • April Decheine

They look so comfy! They did not have those when my kids were little, I look forward to the day I have grandkids and the awesome toddler items available now!

  • After reading your first post on these a while ago – I went out and purchased some for my son. I love that they don’t look like diapers and he definitely feels more comfortable wearing these to bed because he still feels like a big boy!

  • Donna

My son was so easy to potty train and only had a couple overnight accidents just after being potty trained, so Goodnites were nice to have, even if we didn’t have to use them long. My niece is using them on her daughter right now.

  • I like that they are comfy like underwear.

  • Penelope

And they prevent those accidents from ruining the sheets 🙂 – that is my favorite part! My 18 month old sometimes pees out of his diaper and it’s so frustrating, and obviously he is miserable, but I don’t know which one is for his age that doesn’t have gel and works (I like that GoodNites have more cotton instead of that gel)

  • GoodNites are Zoe’s favored brand as they are definitely comfortable and work!

  • They do look nicely padded and comfortable, but not overly padded like a diaper. My little guy took quite a bit longer to make it safely dry through night after night as well.

  • I’m glad they work for you guys! They’re on my shopping list.

  • I like how discreet they are.

  • Goodnites are a real lifesaver at my house. We have tried other brands, and they just don’t cut it in comfort nor effectivness.

  • Those are a great time saver – they save moms from having to do a lot of laundry related to night time accidents.

  • I was debating to do cloth for potty training but gosh these diapers don’t wash themselves. This would be so much easier. Thankfully our diapers hold up for now but the bigger she gets the more she goes!

  • It is so important to have something like Goodnites so that children have something to protect them at night and help with self esteem.

  • Penelope

Lol 🙂 Is she really ready for potty training??

  • I really think by 16 months we’ll start the whole thing. She’s been pooping on the potty 🙂 obviously I take her when she starts pushing or going to her pooping area lol 🙂

  • GoodNites are fantastic! I loved seeing the look of success on the kids faces after waking up dry

  • These are such a confidence booster for young kids. Night time accidents can be such a backstep for many and knowing they don’t have to worry about waking up with wet sheets and or be embarrassed when they’re at someone else’s spending the night is great.

  • It looks like GoodNites are a great insurance policy to keep on hand!

  • I love that they have come out with just absorbent and comfortable products. Sometimes kids just need a little assistance!

  • I used GoodNites with all three of my kids and I can honestly say they’re amazing.

You’ve Been Here Too – Stories From The Bright Side Of Baby Feeding #HFBrightSide

Feeding my sons has always been quite a production, and I’m sure most parents understand exactly what I mean. Little man was not a great eater, and by not a great eater, I mean we were lucky if he ate one meal a day, and it had to be practically force-fed to him bite by […]

  • Both my kids love their pouches. Where can I get some of this washable wall paint?

  • I think those pouches look pretty neat. I would have liked those when my kids were younger.

  • Believe it or not I have teenager that loved this too as well as my youngest

  • Mellisa

    Those pouches are really convenient.

  • My nephew loves his pouches. They are so perfect for an afternoon snack.

  • It’s really kinda cute how different the two of them are! I’m giggling that the littlest is messing everything up though!

  • I babysit my niece and nephew on the weekends (3 and 5 years old). They both love these pouches and it makes things easy on me as well. Win win!

  • I love that they offer organic options where other manufacturers do not. I like knowing my children are eating good food.

  • I remember the days of trying to get my daughter to eat and not throw her food every wear. The idea behind the food in a pouch is genius.

  • Believe it or not, I actually miss those sweet messy moments when my kids were small. They can now clean up their spots, put their dishes in the sink and wash their own hands and faces, so meal times have certainly changed!

  • I love happy family brands! I love that they have toddler products too.

  • I hope we have some more messy moments. Right now we’re pretty messy with berries 🙂 Can’t wait until our foods aren’t so limited.

  • My son wasn’t a great eater either (still isn’t), but my daughter, on the other hand, LOVES to eat.

  • My daughter used to eat some of their products.

  • It’s fun to see the pouches come out and how they make feeding easier. I’ll definitely be using them this time around.

  • Oh, I have definitely been there! My youngest loves fruit pouches, it is the only way he will eat fruit.

  • Those pouches look pretty cool! I wish these were around when my kids were younger.

  • I need to try these for my children. They don’t get enough fruits and veggies.

  • These little pouches make meal time so much more enjoyable and fast than traditional jars.

Letters To My Sons {September 2013}

To my sweet little boy, Another summer is almost over, and you begin school next week. You are no longer a baby, or a toddler, but a big boy, about to start pre-k! It was a wonderfully long summer, where I enjoyed watching you play with your brother, teach him, and learn quite a bit […]

LOL, I love that he says Buscuits when he gets mad..so cute !

  • So sweet. It’s awesome that he likes school and has such an affinity for numbers.

  • Wow he can count by 2s & 10s he is so smart. You are so lucky he’s excited about school, my daughter is already complaining about going back.

  • Love Biscuits!! Maybe I should start saying that! 🙂

  • My son loves Rescue bots! You are certainly raising some sweet boys!

  • Growing so fast, picking out their own clothes is a blessing and a curse LOL. Hope he has a fun time in pre-K this year.

  • Beautiful! I love that he says biscuits when he gets frustrated!

  • He looks like he is ready for school.

  • I love that you are recording all of these milestones!

  • Awww so cute. I can’t believe summer is gone but am looking forward to fall. I love that he LOVES Woody Woodpecker, that rocks!

  • Both your boys are adorable!

  • Love the fact that he’s coming into his own and discovering his sense of style. Biscuit though, Interesting choice of word.

  • Oooh P. We need to get our boys together!!! Landon loves Rescue Bots. I love that he says Biscuits when he’s mad, that so made me laugh. He’s so handsome. Ahh we are so lucky to have such sweet little men!

  • Donna

Too funny! I say “biscuits” when I’m frustrated, too. LOL! How cool that he cares about what he wears, because my son could care less as long as he can wear athletic type shorts/pants… he hates jeans. All about comfort. 🙂 I love the pic of him looking back at you. Sweet.

  • Biscuits?! That’s hilarious! I wonder where that came from.

  • haha “biscuits” how cute and funny.

We like to watch The Lorax too!

  • Penelope

We really are lucky Alison 🙂 We have a fence now, and a backyard, so you can visit ANY TIME YOU WANT! We would LOVE to have you over!!! It will be so much fun!!!

  • Biscuits! SO cute! I didn’t know woody wood pecker was still on tv!

  • Biscuits! That’s adorable!

  • LOL Love that he chooses to say Biscuits.

  • Penelope

There is a new generation of Woody Woodpecker! (and it’s funny)

  • Penelope

He heard it on a show- thank goodness! He accidentally heard the f word and the d word from adults and on youtube, so I had to block web browsers and youtube and keep reminding adults to mind their language, and finally biscuits became the new thing 🙂

  • It seems like just yesterday my son was learning to ride his bike. Time sure flies and I love the idea of doing letters to him.

  • That is so cute how he says Biscuits when he is upset!

  • Angela S

This is so sweet and I love that he says biscuits when he gets mad. Adorable!

  • I love these letters.

  • Biscuits! I gotta start saying that. Sweet T remarked that something “sounded like crap” the other day and I had to explain (while struggling not to laugh out loud) that crap isn’t something little girls say. Biscuits is much better. 🙂

  • What a cutie! That’s cute and funny how he hates the Hawaiian shorts that his nana bought him. My son was the same way when my mom bought him a Hawaiian outfit, lol. 🙂

  • Biscuits? Now that’s cute!

  • I can see why he melts your heart

  • It’s a shame that they grow up isn’t it?! And I’m so totally going to start saying Biscuits when I’m frustrated!

  • That’s so impressive Little Man is able to count by 2s and 10s. This is definitely something I need to work on with my oldest.

  • They grow up entirely too fast. Such cuties you have there.

  • What a sweet letter! I think it’s awesome that he likes an old cartoon favorite like Woody Woodpecker.

  • Poor Grandma….they’re not always the best when it comes to choosing stylish apparel. Your letter is just precious.
