BOOK CLUB: This Is Where I Leave You #TIWILY #TIWILYbookclub

Books are almost always better than their film version, but that never stops me from watching the cinematic manifestation of a book I love, and I’m often thrilled to see the characters brought to life and relive those moments in the book that impacted me. I especially love it when the movie is wonderful too, […]

  • I just saw the trailer for this last weekend while watching another movie and thought it looked like a great movie… didn’t know it was adapted from a book. I like reading the book before watching the movie when I can so I’ll check it out.

  • That looks like it’s going to be such a fun movie. Everything seems to be adapted from a book or story now a days.

  • I would love to read this book. I haven’t read a good book in awhile and I love it when they are turned into movies.

  • This is the first I’ve heard of TIWILY, interesting!

  • Penelope

I can send you my copy once I’m done (I’ve halfway through), let me know! Then we can chat about it too and compare it to the movie 🙂

  • Yay, we’re reading the same book! I’m thoroughly hooked on it already.

  • This is the first time I’ve heard of This Is Where I Leave You, it looks really interesting!

  • I’m not a reader at all so if I know anything about a title, it’s because I saw the movie about it. Sounds like an interesting story!

  • I haven’t read this book. I’d like to read it and see the movie.

  • Sounds like a really interesting story!

  • I haven’t heard of this book, sounds good though! I wish we had a book club near me, cause I think it would be fun to do! I love the cover of this book!

  • I do love a good book. I like to read them before I see the movie though.

  • Oh my gosh…you have me like an eager beaver wanting this book and now I can’t wait to watch this movie! I love a good book and movie as you already know from my blog.

  • I haven’t read this book yet – I’m interested in it though – I have a couple of trips coming up and I always read on the plane!

  • I’ll have to read this before watching the movie. I agree with you that most of the time the book is better than the film. 🙂

  • I always love to read the book first if I know a movie is coming out.

  • I’m a fan of books that have become movies. It’s fun to see how an author’s work is reimagined for film. I prefer to read the book first, so I’m going to need to pick this one up quickly.

  • Ok, I want to check it out… It looks like it’s going to be fun!

  • I have not read this yet, but news of it has been making the rounds on social media. I am going to have to check it out.

  • Sounds like a great cast! With the release date coming up so soon, I’m likely going to hold off on reading the book until after seeing the movie. I don’t want to be disappointed!

  • I saw the trailer for this movie recently and was very interested. I would really love to read the book before seeing the film.

  • After reading your review and a few others online, I bought the book and read it. In 3 days. It should have only taken me 2, but I was kinda busy. I found it interesting reading it through a man’s perspective. I thought it was pretty good.

Happier Babies = Happier Moms @PlaytexBaby #MomTrust

Happy babies make for happy moms, and colicky babies make for both unhappy babies and moms (and dads, and siblings) so many parents who struggle with a newborn with colic look for ways to reduce it and ease their baby’s pain. Playtex created bottle-feeding products designed specifically to reduce colic, and you don’t need to […]

  • We used the Playtex liners in bottles when our daughter was an infant. The drop ins were just brand new way back then and just before she was out of bottle feeding I started to use them. I loved the convenience of them back them, I bet after 18 years they are made even better now!

  • I love how sanitary these bottles are. There is no need to worry about germs staying in the bottles. I love that!

  • He’s so adorable and I’m so happy bottles have come so far to help make moms and babies all the more happier!

  • I could have really used this when Zeva was younger. Now she’s on sippy cups and is really pushing to use a real cup all the time now too (if she didn’t constantly spill her drinks I’d gladly let her make the complete switch.) Zeva was very colicky, and this would had been extremely helpful for her.

  • I didn’t realize that bottles can add or lessen the effects of colic. Great to know Playtex offers this system.

  • Happy babies = happy mommies is so true! Your son is adorable!

  • When I had littl(er) ones I loved Playtex, still do 🙂

  • I used Playtex bottles with drop in liners with my oldest and Ventaire with my other two children. I have always considered them one of my favorite baby brands.

  • These look like really good bottles. They’d make a great baby shower gift.

  • My youngest had colic, and I would have done anything to help ease the discomfort. It was such a challenging time for all of us.

  • Wow sounds like this bottle works great. I love how it is leak proof. My sister is expecting so I will have to tell her about these, in case she hasn’t heard of them yet.

  • I have to admit sometimes I miss having a baby around. Love all the new products they have come out with over the years.

  • What a cutie! I like that Playtex is a name you can trust.

  • Playtex has come a really long way since my kids were little. It’s great to see a bottle that makes both mom and baby more happier.

  • I always went with Playtex bottles for juice when the kids were little. The drop-in liners are an awesome change though.

  • Neither of my girls would take bottles (sad for me), but I have girlfriends that swear by Playtex and anything that helps with colic is a winner to me!

  • If I hadn’t breast fed this is exactly the kind of bottle I would have wanted for my son.
