We are loving this summer so far, especially our barbecues and picnics. With three dudes to feed, they are always a fun way to go when it’s time to get the clan together, include some other family and friends, and nosh. The outdoors and sun make eating together better, and the smell of foods cooking outdoors is delicious.

My favorite hot dogs are a unique recipe I made up years back when I was experimenting with toppings (because people come up with some crazy hot dog toppings, and for some reason they are always delicious, even the odd ones). My favorites hot dogs are topped with ketchup, black pepper, cilantro and green peppers. I know, I know…but it actually tastes really good!
And since it was a cookout, of course we made some s’mores to go with our Bar-S hot dogs!

I need that hot dog holder for the grill. My family loves hot dogs. I have never tried hot dogs the way you make them, but that does sound really good.

I love that tool to cook hotdogs and who doesn’t love a great s’mores. I hate that summer is ending soon 🙁
We really enjoy hot dogs made on the grill. Somehow the smell of them on the grill just signifies summer.

There’s not a better combination than hot dogs and s’mores. They are perfect for a cookout. I need to have one for my family before summer escapes us.
We try to have a summer cook out over an open fire at least once over the summer. I think the children would love to have them more but so many factors come into play when having a live fire on the ground – weather, heat index, wind, which we get a lot of with the open fields.
That is one snazzy hot dog holder!
