We are in the market for a new vehicle, a family vehicle, one that will make raising boys even more fun and adventurous. A utility vehicle is ideal for us, and we recently learned about the new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander, a compact CUV with seven passenger seating for families that are always on the run (like us).
The new 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander will be among the most fuel-efficient CUV’s, making it both budget friendly and eco-conscious. The mid-level Outlander SE model will also be available with the Super All-Wheel Control, all-wheel drive system, a feature previously exclusive to the top Outlander model, the GT. It’s been updated to be more aerodynamic, ergonomic, and sophisticated.

Great features of the 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander
· Adaptive Cruise Control – radar-based sensor measures distance between the Outlander and the vehicle in front of it
· Forward Collision Mitigation – radar-based system that detects obstructions in front of the Outlander and automatically warns and applies brakes to minimize a collision with the vehicle in front
· Lane Departure Warning – camera-based system that helps to monitor lane position of the Outlander and warn the driver via visual and audio warnings if they begin to veer into the next lane
· Standard safety features such as a seven airbag Supplemental Restraint System with side curtain airbags and driver’s knee airbag
A new driver-activated ECO-mode standard on all 2014 Outlander models helps to reduce fuel consumption by reducing engine power on initial acceleration as well as the airflow volume of the air conditioning, and Outlander models equipped with Super All-Wheel Control will allow the vehicle to function as a 2WD vehicle while in ECO-mode.
The mid-level Outlander SE builds on the base model’s standard equipment package with a 6″ touch screen display audio system, rearview camera system, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, FAST key passive entry system, and a Handsfree Link system with USB that allows voice activation via voice commands.

Sounds like a pretty neat vehicle.
What a sweet ride! The Outlander looks so roomy!
What a snazzy car, lots of great features.
looks nice. We needed something that could hold 3 car seats so we had limited options.
The first thing that popped into my head with that lane departure warning is that it could potentially save lives given the fact that way too many people text and drive.
Looks like a great car
Love the features and it looks great!!
That is AWESOME!!! To bad I am not looking for a new car.
Very nice. That’s a ton of storage when you put the seats down.
Thanks for the review. We’re looking to upgrade to an SUV since baby #2 arrived.
Looks like an awesome vehicle!
Very nice vehicle!
Looks like a great car.
It looks like the perfect family vehicle.
I have almost all of the vehicles in my current SUV but the forward collision mitigation. I’ve never heard of this but what an awesome feature!
That is one nice looking vehicle. Certainly better than the mini van I am currently sporting.
looks roomie
This is a nice looking ride.
This is one of the cars we drove that I didn’t care for.
