When planning dinner or a get together, you want to make sure your table is topped with savory dishes for your family and guests. I love broccoli, and when it’s dressed up with extra flavor as a side dish, it’s a hit at parties (broccoli is super healthy and delicious, and seriously under-rated).
If you appreciate the deliciously healthy veggie known as broccoli as much as I do, you’ll love this side dish recipe for Broccoli with Roasted Garlic and Soy Sauce…it would be great if you are offering a selection of tapas, and just as perfect alongside your main dish. I use Kikkoman Soy Sauce in it (and in so many other recipes) because it’s so versatile, a true flavor enhancer.
I hope you enjoy it!
Stir Fry Broccoli with Garlic and Soy Sauce- Side Dish Recipe
4 cups broccoli florets
2 garlic cloves
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp sea salt
2 tbs Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1. Cut garlic into slivers and cook in a pan with olive oil until browned.
2. Add in broccoli and stir fry together about 5 minutes.
3. Add salt and Kikkoman Soy Sauce and stir together one extra minute, then turn off heat and transfer broccoli to a serving bowl.
4. Serve and enjoy!
Kikkoman soy sauce is traditionally brewed and enhances the flavor of a dish without really needing any other ingredients or flavorings. It’s a great browning sauce so it’s always in my pantry, close at hand when I need to help kick up a dish. Kikkoman Soy Sauce is aged for several months to develop its characteristic rich flavor, aroma, and distinctive reddish-brown color…just like a good wine!
