Sliding Into Summer, The Fun Way + A WaterSlide Giveaway

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bestway. All opinions are 100% mine.

For kids, summer means no school, summer means outdoors, summer means getting wet and summer means fun! My summer dreams as a kid were long, lazy days running through sprinklers or splashing around a kiddie pool, and the best thing ever was visiting a waterpark so I’d have the chance to go on a waterslide… that was rare though.

Creative kids back in the day put together makeshift water slides in their backyard that maybe lasted for an hour or two…or, you can get your kids H2OGO! and give them the thrill of the summer! It’s a line of water slides featuring a patent-pending Speed Ramp, a tough, inflatable launch pad that propels riders headfirst into a smooth and super-fast 18 foot ride…and no belly flop!

sliding along
slip n slide with sprinkler

Designed to get kids off the couch on warm spring and summer days, and eliminate the β€œouch” factor in other water slides, H2OGO! also features a Splash Lagoon under the Speed Ramp to create a drenching good takeoff…basically where the kids will hang out on those hot summer days as they wait for their turn. It makes the slide smoother, less friction, and way faster!

There are so many levels of fun here, basically water slides and sprinklers and a little pool, all in one. It’s easy to set up, and when you have a family party it’s a great way to make sure the kids are having fun together and staying cool.

The H2OGO! Water Slide comes in a single, double and triple model, so if you have lots of kids or invite the neighborhood kids over to play, there is fun for them all. These adorable girls are my friend Kelly’s daughters enjoying the slide on one of the first beautiful days of the year:

My Party Tip Is To Set Up A Variety Of Stations That Offer Activities For Guest’s To Enjoy. For Example A Water Balloon Station, Water Slide Station, Water Gun Station. Perfect For A Kids Party!

  • Kayla Coleman

This looks like so much fun! We are planning a backyard water fun birthday party for our 5 & 6 year old for July 26th since my son’s birthday is July 16th and my daughter’s birthday is August 10th and I’m also due with twins July 22nd (probably be earlier.) This would definitely be the highlight of the party and the whole summer! I can already imagine all the memories that could be made with this.

My Summertime tip is stay as hydrated as possible! You can never have enough water. If the kids don’t like water buy some water flavoring or even Popsicles would be awesome for them.

Also make sure not only the kids get enough bug spray and sunscreen but you have to protect yourself as well. Make sure it is water resistant especially if you’re going to be swimming or having fun with water.

Thanks for the chance to win this awesome water slide!! Looks like so much fun.

My summertime party tips is have a Water Park theme party for the kids. Have buckets full of water balloons, some water pistols, a sprinkler or pool, and make the H2OGO! Water Slide the main event.

  • Kimberly M.

I use the little plastic pools or the little blow up pools as coolers for drinks for my parties. Just put ice in them and put the drinks in. You can also put dishes you want to keep cold in there like macaroni salad, potato salad, etc. between eating times. Works great and keep the food nice and cold. That way you aren’t running in and out of the house to the refrigerator. I like the heavy plastic ones the best though.

  • Patricia Llanes

This reminds me of one of my favorite childhood summer toys…the slip and slide. The H20GO takes summer fun to a whole new level!

  • Barb Hanson

My grand kids would have so much fun with this.

  • Sam

A fun summertime, memorial day, or fourth of July party idea is to have an outdoor bbq. While the food is prepping, have waterguns and water balloons, as well as buckets of water and even a hose available for kids to splash around with (making sure it is in the warmest part of the day to give them time to dry off before it cools down). After have the food, then a family/friend kickball game that mixes all ages on teams. It’s also fun to fire up the grill and make s’mores for all. Finally cap the night off with fireworks. Fun times all the way around.

  • Tom Bellamy

  • LaTanya

Summertime Party Tip: If having a twilight/night time party, hang Christmas lights. They add a Midsummer’s Night Dream, almost fairy-like, feel to any party and are unexpected seeing as how they are out of season. Buying them after the holiday makes them a very inexpensive purchase. If you want to have a messy party, load up a tarp with paint, have everybody wear white shirts and slip’n’slide down the tarp creating fun outdoor summer art.

Every summer our kids, grandkids, and us spend a week at our cabin in northern MN. There is 18 of us if they all come. We take them in turns on a pontoon ride or fish. We can also swim but have to go to our neighbors for that because we’re in a boggy chanel. We have an acre of land behind the house that we mow and the kids love it ! They are all under 7yrs old. We have 2 electric vehicles they can drive around in and a small pool they can swim in. This would be great to have too !! One more thing our grandkids and some of the adults would love to do. Then we have bbq’s, eat outside, have a fire a night and cook hot dogs and smore’s over the fire. Thank you for the chance to win this !!
