Babies are adorable, from their chubby toes to their dimpled hands. My son is no exception. He has long lashes, multiple dimples, a cleft chin and the cutest pout. Puppies are adorable also, and pet owners will argue that their canine babies rival any baby anywhere in cuteness, but I don’t know…I don’t think I’ve ever found anything that can make me melt as much as my son:
Animal Planet is challenging America to vote in a final showdown- the Puppies vs. Babies online contest. I like dogs. I love how friendly and smart they are, and I think their loyalty to their masters (and often heroism to save them) makes them my favorite of all creatures in the world…after babies. Personally, I’ve never seen a baby that wasn’t cute, and some are just so beyond scrumptious that I want to bunch them up into a little ball and cover them in kisses. Dogs are cute, but for some reason I don’t find puppy slobber quite as inoffensive as baby drool, and doggie poop seems poopier than baby poop, so my vote is for babies. My childless puppy-owning friends may disagree, but I think it takes seeing a baby sweetly look up at you while cooing to understand that no matter how cute a dog is, they will never squeeze your heart like a baby will.
Did I just start a war? I think dog-people everywhere just gave me dart eyes through my computer screen. When it’s your child vs. a puppy, your child wins. If it’s someone else’s child, it’s a toss up.
I have to agree with Tammy. Nothing or no one compares to your own kids.
While I love my little dachshund, I think my babies are much cuter 😉
How fun! I love babies, but some aren’t so cute. I have never met an ugly puppy though, so I would have to say puppies.
My baby is so much cuter than dogs but I agree with someone else when it’s someone else’s kid it’s a toss up.

I think it’s a hard choice some days which one is cuter. 😉
I gotta go with puppies. And I’m a father of 3 of the cutest girls you’ll ever see! In fact, my first born is 31 now. From the first day she arrived, we did everything together. (Well, almost everything). To this day, I can still say she’s my best friend.
I’ve also had my share of puppies. I just gotta go with the puppies. Maybe it’s just a guy thing.
It would be interesting to see if they give results by gender also.
