I would LOVE to win the cookbook for my son and daughter-in-law. They have two little girls, one just started kindergarten and the three year old attends the pre-school her parents own. My son works full time for a computer software company in one city, lives in another city and commutes. My daughter-in-law is the Director of a pre-school that is in a different city than she lives and picks her daughter up from kindergarten at noon, then back to the pre-school. They are so busy that they often order out. Both love to cook, so this cookbook sounds like the perfect solution for their busy family.

Oh, I really like the sound of this! I am SO not good at making dinner happen, and if I don't have it planned out, we end up with something thrown together like grilled cheese or mac and chs. WAY too often. I feel so guilty, but I don't know HOW to cook really – never learned – and having two young kids underfoot makes it kind of hard to concentrate. I would love to be able to do most of the work ahead of time (when my husband is around to watch the kids!) and then have less steps to worry about at 5.

I would love to win this. My husband is military and there are countless times when i make dinner only for him to say he cant make it on time or at all. It leaves a lot of uneaten food. I would love this cookbook! I have an almost 3-year-old, a 15-mo-old, and I'm 4 months pregnant.
Making dinner is the longest, hardest part of the day! But I've found if I spend one day/week doing meal prep in the kitchen (for the rest of the week), dinner time is much much less stressful!
I have only a couple "make-ahead" recipes, and a few crockpot recipes, but most meals taste best fresh, so I'm always hesitant to "transform" a recipe into a "make-ahead" . . . but I would LOVE to have a book chock-full of recipes that would help me with the craziest time of the day!
Not to mention–what a great idea to make and freeze some meals before the baby comes! -

I am always on the look out for make ahead meals. Dinner time can be hectic especially when the "what are we having for dinner" talk starts. It is so nice to be able to plunk something out of the freezer and just finish it. This book would greatly help with that.

I love this movie. In fact, I love all three of the Kendrick Brothers' movies. I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
I also recommend the Love Dare book to anyone who is having problems in their marriage, or if they just want to feel closer to their spouse.

DH and I watched the movie and I immediatly purchased a copy of the love dare. I do think it was a great movie and hope that more people take the challenge to commit more to spouse and Christ!

Jules, that is how I feel too…I can't focus on everything at once (trying to is futile, and makes me feel like a failure) but one at a time I can do, and do things well.
Laura, I agree with you, the chronology does not matter. It's the focus…when you are doing something, do it well, with all your heart (or don't do it at all…not every woman wants to be a wife, or have a career, or travel, etc, so don't…we should all follow the beat of our own drum).
