Ashley Hebert is having a disastrous season on The Bachelorette so far this season, and the cause seems to be ABC’s current villain of the day, Bentley Williams. What we see on TV: Ashley Hebert was warned a suitor would appear on the Bachelorette to woo her, but for the wrong reasons. He came on […]
I’ve always had good posture growing up, but somewhere in my 20’s I started to slouch. I’m not sure if it was the long hours standing as a pharmacist, the constant bending of my neck down to look at a computer and counter, holding a phone between my cheek and shoulder to multitask, or simply […]
-
That’s pretty cool. My posture is not great it could definitely use some work. My 12 y/o posture is horrid no matter how many times I tell her to stand up straight! I will have to check these out!
-
My posture is horrid – really, really bad. I try to force myself to sit up straight or stand taller when I think about it, but most times I don’t. I’m definitely interested in improving my posture so will be checking this out!
-
I love this. I was randomly fortunate (if one can see it that way) to have broken my collarbone when I was 14 and had to wear a figure 8 brace that really improved my posture, however, years of computer work are definitely taking their toll, and my honey could probably enjoy the same gentle guidance from a shirt like this as he has constant neck and shoulder pain. Thanks for being our trial runner so we could learn about products like these.

I’ve been looking for something for my bad posture (and lower back pain) for so long! Thanks for the review! On my way to check them out… 😀
-
This is awesome. I remember growing up my best friend matured really young, so she got in the habit of slouching to try and hide her breasts. Now as an adult she still has terrible posture, and said she never really noticed it until she saw herself in her wedding pictures (I had been telling her for years, but you know how that goes lol) I am going to send her this link – these may help her. Great post!
-
pretty cool! gonna check them out now
-
Wow that is very interesting. I too have bad posture which I contribute to 5 years sitting at a computer for work. And now that I am home with the kids it has gotten worse. I could use something like this. Thanks!
-
I have horrible posture, as well. I didn’t even know there was clothing to help improve it. I’ll definitely be checking them out.
-
I could definitely use one of those. My posture is horrible.
-
I hate the fact that I slouch. HATE IT. This sounds like a nice, gentle way of easing my posture back to how it should be.
-
I slouch a lot too! My mom always reprimands me whenever she sees me because I always do that although I’m quite unaware of it. You’re very right in saying that bad posture makes you look unattractive… thank you for posting this!

I have a home full of stainless steel appliances, from my refrigerator and microwave to our oven and barbecue. Stainless steel appliances are very attractive to me, especially when they are polished and shiny. The problem is, between cooking and a son who likes to touch everything, I have fingerprints and food splatters all over […]
-
Oh wow! Your kitchen looks amazing! I love stainless steel appliances too and find them difficult to keep looking clean. Affresh Stainless Steel Cleaner seems to do the trick! I’ll have to give it a try!
-
Wow – totally impressed by what it did for the grill, I’m going to get some for my stainless steel sink.
-
shiny stainless steel looks SOOO lovely, we got a special powder cleaner for our pans and they are just GREAT!
-
That stuff looks really great! I use the stainless steel wipes right now but they streak and compared to this I’m sure is much more expensive per use.
-
i could use some of that. i like shiny things too! 🙂
-
Wow, it really did a number on your grill! Amazing.
-
Pretty!

We love mashed potatoes- they are healthy and very filling! Here is our favorite mashed potatoes recipe:
-
These look great! I love that they have olive oil instead of milk.
-
They look delicious! I can never get all of the lumps out. But I don’t mind lumps.
-
I make mine with milk, butter and sour cream. Your way looks a lot healthier!
-
Yum! These sound really good and much healthier than using butter or cream!
-
I could eat mashed potatoes alone for a meal. I love them!
-
I just use some no salt (olive oil based) marg. and skim milk. You can add a little cheese if you like but my hubby hates that so i use garlic, chives or green onions; salt and pepper to taste. My gf makes the most amazing mashed potatoes by putting ranch salad dressing in hers their to DIE FOR; not figure friendly though but she doesn’t need to worry about that.
-
Oh yum. I’ve been lazy lately using the packaged stuff. Homeade is always so much better!
-
Those look seriously tasty! Mashed potatoes are one of my all-time favorite side dishes and have been my entree more times than I care to admit.
-
I admit I’m lazy and buy the pre-cut frozen ones that you just need to nuke and smash…..
-
Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe.
-
Oh YUMMY! I’ll have to try adding the olive oil! Thanks for sharing!
-
I like anything with potatoes in it! I like to use a potato ricer. It’s so much faster and I like to put garlic salt and garlic chives in it! 🙂
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up, they walked 25 miles to school every morning, uphill, barefoot, in the snow…yadda, yadda, yadda. I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in […]
-
This is hilarious and oh so, true!
-
Just think if you were born even earlier like I was…That stuff sounds like heaven to me.
-
We’ve always used that “when we were your age we had to get up to change the channels on the TV AND we only got three stations” with our daughter – she cracks up when we say that!
-
HILARIOUS!! I got the “Safety Arm” MANY times growing up, LOL!
-
Very funny – in many ways life is easier, but in some of the more important ways I think life is going to be harder for them. I am scared to see my daughter grow up, go to school, drive.
-
Some of it was spot on, some of it not so much. I wonder how old the original author was!
-
ROFL!!! back in the day when beating your kids was alright and “bad” if you didn’t. Hubby’s family is like that hes got lots of great spoon stories… later they moved to a belt cause hte spoons kept breaking… very happy i was in a family of hippies that didn’t do that lol. Probably would have happened too often.
love it “had to shoplift it yourself…” !!! GREAT!!
-
Look, there are also advantages to being born in an earlier decade. Plus, when I’m older, I’ll tell my kids “When I was your age, when we wanted to listen to music, we had to plug in these things called HEADPHONES into these things call IPODS. You kids have no idea how good you’ve got it.” And my kids will tell their kids how good they have it, and so on and so forth. It’s an endless cycle. So don’t complain because EVERYONE goes through this at some point.
(P.S. Not all of us are obsessive gamers who only know C.O.D., or kids who only know how to communicate through facebook or texting. You make such generalizations in this article.)
-
I don’t communicate through facebook either…at the end I wrote that this was a funny email sent to me.
-
oh shut the **** up. if you had tape decks then you had microwaves and tv remotes. I grew up with all these things and i wish i could have grown up in the sixties and seventies. it would have been way better. hell even the late 1800s/ early 1900s would have been cool.
-
I thought it was awesome!! ROFLMAO every time I read it. I am 35 and did every single thing that was listed..
-
Hey, take the story for what it was, lighten up, it was supposed to be funny and it was hilarious and most everything was true in it..
-
funny your screen name is about quit your bitching, but what are you doing throughout your whole entire post, you hypocritical person your too funny, practice what you preach
-
This isn’t my post, it was shared with me (I think I wrote that at the end, have to check)…isn’t it funny? I thought I’d share it because it made me laugh.

I saw that Chris and Peyton are engaged! They seem perfect for each other – very down to earth!
I think we might this sabotage trend continue – I mean the wrestler (I forget his name) last season and his girlfriend he was still in contact with and now Bentley. Ratings jackpot!
I LOVE this!! I actually love the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows and have watched every single season from the beginning. The best part about this Season has been teaching my Tween daughter how NOT to look desperate, needy, and wimpy to a man.. how UNATTRACTIVE that is.
Though I do think that Bentley has been made into a vilian, I do not think they had to stretch much of the truth to do so.
I still think he is a total jerk 😉
