Find What You Love, and Love What You Find #Archetypes #WhatsYours

I’m creative, an intellectual, and a visionary. I discovered this on Archetypes.com after taking a quiz, and I’ve been receiving personalized recommendations for shopping, articles, and recipes ever since on my Daily Me page, as well as organizing my own finds on my boards, to save for myself and share with others. Archetypes.com is a […]

  • I have to go check this out, I am curious to see what my type is!

  • I’ll have to check this out!

  • I took the quiz and it was very spot on for me 🙂

  • I love looking around on this site. All the relevant information makes it fun to browse.

  • The OCD in me would absolutely adore a ME board. What a great way to save time browsing the net and have some fun too!

  • I’ll have to go check this out once I get more than a couple minutes to myself. I love doing these personality type tests and seeing how accurate they are.

  • This is really interesting…will check out.

  • What I love about it is that the content is so unique and different from most other sites. It’s kinda quirky and very fun!

  • I’ve seen this site talked about before. I need to check it out, although I’m not sure I need another site to play with…

Now I am very interested in learning what my style is!

The BISSELL PowerGlide Lift-Off Vacuum In Action

This post brought to you by BISSELL Homecare, Inc.. All opinions are 100% mine. I am a busy mom of two messy boys, and spend a lot time in the car. As a result, when it comes to keeping things clean, I have two main areas of focus: the family car and our family home. […]

  • I am sick and tired of all of the dust in my house. I need to check into these.

  • Jennifer @ The Quirky Momma

I’m loving the handle on the vacuum. I have a really hard time holding things due to an auto-inflammatory disorder, and that kind of handle would work for me.

  • This looks like a pretty handy vacuum. I’ll probably be in the market for one soon, as both of mine are losing their gusto.

  • It’s nice that it’s so lightweight. It’s hard to lug around vacuums that are heavy.

  • Man I so need one of these! This looks like it would fit perfectly with my needs!!

  • I don’t have pets but my kids are 4x as bad with messes. I luv that it lifts off to tackle spills of dirt

  • I have this too and I love it, and I usually don’t rave about vacuums, unless they’re Dyson!

  • I like how it “lifts off”.

  • I would love that for my stairs! So light and easy.

  • Everything’s in my house is so tall, so that crevice tool would really come in handy for me.

  • I love that the handle is adjustable – hubby is taller and I’m shorter. Plus love that it’s purple 🙂 Tad jealous you can take it anywhere!!

  • I love that it looks very portable and lightweight.

  • That looks so handy! I love having a vacuum that makes cleaning out the car easier.

  • That’s brilliant! I need something with a lift-off canister.

  • I need a vacuum like this so I can clean my car!

  • This sounds like a great vacuum. With three children and a dog, I could definitely get some use out of this!

  • One of the few carpets spots in our home are the stairs and it just breaks my back to lug our vacuum up and down, even though it’s relatively lightweight. I would love a lift off option like this!

Keeping The Kids Safe While Visiting Grandma and Grandpa {Infographic}

These days are gone for me and for my parents for that matter, until great-great grand kids. 🙂 Great tips! I Love cordless blinds, so you don’t have to worry about the cords at all.

  • Great tips! I was so happy to know that my parents ordered a steel barrier gate around their entire in-ground pool the moment I found out I was expecting my oldest. I really appreciated them being so proactive about safety.

  • TV’s tipping over has become a real problem now that so many are flat screens and can be grabbed and pulled. It’s scary!

  • Jennifer @ The Quirky Momma

My mother-in-law’s home was a ‘no touching’ house. I felt so bad for my daughter every time we visited because Grandma wouldn’t let her touch anything, even the furniture. She had a ‘no sitting’ sofa, many ‘no sitting’ chairs and antiques all over the place. My little daughter had to either sit in the middle of the living room and not touch anything or go outside. Unfortunately, Grandma didn’t see her only grandchild very often because the house was both unsafe for children (no security gates on stairs, no outlet covers, many breakables all over) and too ‘no touch.’

  • Penelope

I grew up in a house like this…one room was split in half with an imaginary line, the ok to walk through part, and the no touch part. It’s neurotic to be THAT clean, especially when there are kids around. I let my boys ruin my stuff to an extent, lol.

  • Somehow my daughter ends up loving the toys at her grandparents house even more once they’re there. It could be the same ones she had at home for months and never played with but as soon as they’re in a new environment she’s all about them.

  • What a fun infographic with tips from all my favorite bloggers! Great tips for keeping kids safe.

  • Wow — I didn’t realize you’d put out an infographic! And a good one too. We have to do the “once over” at my MIL’s house. When people don’t have little ones around on a daily basis, they just don’t see the potential dangers.

  • These are great tips

  • My in-laws house is certainly not kid-friendly. They’ve got things all over the place that the kids can get into or could potentially be a hazard. That’s why when we’re over there I’ve got my eyes on my kids like a hawk.

  • I temporarily got rid of my coffee table (it is at my inlaw’s house) since my daughter kept getting into little incidents with it.

  • I love these tips! We always think our parents will have a safe home, but when the babies have been gone for so long, it’s usually not very baby-proofed! I’d be a nervous wreck with the kids around the pool. 🙁

What Is Your Perfect Sandwich? #HVSandwichSpreads

My husband has been asking me to mix it up a bit when it comes to his lunch, and I wasn’t sure what to try aside from his usual ham sandwiches, because he tends to be particular about what he likes and doesn’t. We had the opportunity to try out the new Hidden Valley™ Sandwich […]
