One of my favorite things to do online is find new recipes to try for my family’s dinner, and when I find a winner I print it out. I used to have a collection of cookbooks, but over time they were replaced by a collection of printouts of my favorite recipes that I keep in […]

  • Oooo… now I really want one ๐Ÿ˜€

  • Mellisa

What a great printer. Those pot pies are so cute too.

  • I would love to make a cookbook like that with all of my Gram’s recipes.

  • Donna

I love the individual pot pies like that. And your pics from the printer look good enough to eat!

  • That’s such a good idea to do it that way. I might just have to start. Can I use my son’s printer since I bought him this one?

  • I like to print out recipes too! I have separate folders I use for different types of recipes. I like the binder idea though. I might have to start doing that.

Letters To My Sons {December 2013}

It’s almost the end of 2013, and I have two little men who are growing too fast. To my dear little man, next week I’ll watch you be a shepherd in your Christmas pageant. This year you took dance classes, learned a second language, sang songs, played the recorder, drew pictures and painted and acted […]

  • Oh good my daughter isn’t the only one that refuses to wear socks LOL!

  • Adorable photos!

  • Your sons are just so precious and sweet! I really miss having a child so young and cuddly ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Mellisa

What a sweet little boy you have. I just love these letters.

  • I LOVE that your son took dance classes, I’ve been thinking about signing mine up! He’s really into dancing &I think he’d get a kick out of it. I hope both of your boys have a wonderful Christmas!

  • I love this! Sounds like you guys had a really wonderful year, and I just love the idea of letters to your son!! that is such a sweet fun way for him to look back and see the fun things that he was doing each year

  • Donna

My son is 11 and never, ever, ever, has worn socks in the house. As soon as he was able to pull them off when he was a baby, socks never stayed on his feet. He hates socks. ๐Ÿ™‚ And Oh. Em. Gee. Look at those lashes!

  • Such a sweet post and you have two little angels there. They grow up so fast.

  • Your boys are so adorable and they sure do seem to fill your days with joy ๐Ÿ™‚

  • They are both just as darling as can be. The fight about keeping socks on is a losing battle by the way. My 13 year old still won’t keep a pair on his feet lol.

  • how beautiful! My not-so baby doesn’t like socks either ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Love the photos! Especially the second one of your youngest sleeping. So precious!

  • That’s so funny that helps the teacher keep everyone in line! He DOES look like a little angel when he sleeps. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • It’s amazing how much they can change in a year isn’t it? I love how these letters are helping us see the small and big picture of how our kids are growing. Sounds like you have two amazing little boys on your hands. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • So many wonderful moments with your boys. I cannot wait to hear what they are up to in 2014!

  • I cannot believe your baby is saying his first words already. Time really does fly by!

  • I love these letters! And, your photos look amazing!

  • What cuties! And we have the same problem with socks – I don’t have to worry about the dryer eating them because I can never even get a complete pair into the laundry bin. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • They are so precious Penelope.

  • Both of your boys are just beyond precious! I always enjoy watching my kids love and care for one another as well.

  • Look at his eyelashes! Zoe hated socks when she was little, now she won’t take them off!

  • Beautiful! I have a journal for both of my children but I can’t seem to get all the words out. Funny cause that’s what I do all day for work…

Because Our Lives Are Full Of Color- Introducing The New Canon PIXMA MG7120 Wireless Inkjet Photo All-In-One Printer #CanonPIXMA

I love my family more than anything, but in the last year I fell in love with something else (probably because I love my three men so much). I started to study photography, because I wanted to record and hold onto the memories of my growing family over the years in a way they would […]

  • This is a great looking printer. I love all of the features and would def think about getting it should my current printer die. Looks like it does great quality photos which is important here, we love having photos around the house printed in high quality.

  • Monique

You’re exactly right – we take all this pictures but we no longer print them. The advent of the internet…My problem is that I’ve pretty much slowed down on taking pictures in general. I need to get back in the habit.

  • What a cool printer. I love that it is wireless!

  • Our daughter is going to need a printer for her dorm room in college next year, I’ll have to put this on the list to look at when the time gets nearer.

  • Mellisa

Wow, what a really nice printer. I love that it’s wireless.

  • Wow, that looks like a really cool printer! I have a very basic printer but it’s time for an upgrade!

  • I should print more pictures at home. I just always use shutterfly..

  • I literally just got one of these and cannot wait to take it out of the box and start using it!

  • I love that this printer is wireless.

  • I would love to be able to print pictures directly from my phone. We are in the market for a color printer, so I will definitely be checking this one out.

  • That is a sleek looking printer! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • We just bought a Canon printer and absolutely love the quality of the prints it provides!

  • I love that this is wireless.

  • I have the large-format Canon Pixma on my wishlist for Santa – they’re so affordable that it just might end up under the tree!

  • Looks like an awesome printer! And, I love the fact that it uses gray ink, how cool!

  • I couldn’t say for sure whether this is the exact model, but I bought my son one the other night for Christmas!

  • I have a Canon PIXMA, but its an older model. Works great and I love it!

  • Mickey

It’s amazing how nice the features are on home printers now. This looks so nice.

  • I’ve been eying the Pixma Pro-100. If Canon doesn’t end out having replacement of the camera lost in shipping process… I may just buy the package deal from my local camera shop.

  • We have one and I think it prints the best quality out of any printer I have used is is definitely great for photos.

  • I like that it has gray ink. I’ve never seen that in a printer. I just bought 2 sets of 10 frames for my wall, and this sounds like a good printer to print my own photos for them!

  • I would love to have an amazing printer like that, and it is a Canon! Looks like it does amazing prints!

  • That sounds like a great printer! I really should start printing my own photos- mine all live on the computer & I have tons of picture frames waiting to be filled up!

  • This looks like an Awesome printer!!! I have a printer but it doesn’t compare to all this one does, and I love the look of this very Chic!

  • I love my wireless printer, but this sounds wonderful. My printer prints pictures ok but isn’t brilliant so I always take them to the drugstore to print.

  • I have a PIXMA printer (the 6320 model) and I love it. I like that it also has the grey ink in addition to the black ink.

Tis the season to shop! Great deals are to be had as we search for the perfect gift, so we are all out there in stores, or online, spending on things we want and saving lots of money while we are at it- and it’s a great thing. Unfortunately it’s also the season of theft […]

  • I want to get something like this for my kids… good idea!

  • That is the perfect gift! I love getting prepaid gift cards.

  • That’s exactly what I want for Christmas!

  • We usually end up giving my nieces and nephews on my ex’s side of the family gift cards because they’re teens and they can be so hard to shop for!

  • Prepaid gift cards are one of my favorite gifts!

  • Gift cards really are the perfect gift! I love receiving them:)

  • I love pre-paid cards that have no added fees or stipulations, they definitely make the perfect gift.

  • Mellisa

I agree this is the perfect gift. I would rather get something I really like.

  • What a great gift idea. This may be what I get my nephews for Christmas.

  • I give these to my sister for Birthday gifts all the time – that way she can buy what she wants or she can add to it to get something a little more expensive if that’s her choice!

  • Giving my daughter one of these would be perfect as she is doing her Christmas shopping. It will give her a budget and that girl needs one!

  • Donna

I don’t think you can go wrong with prepaid gift cards! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I agree a gift card is easier to walk around with shopping, and even a great gift for someone you don’t know exactly what to get.

  • I never thought about the fact the limited budget would keep you accountable. I like that!

  • What a great idea! I need to use these for myself โ€“ I have a bad habit over overspending around the holidays.
