Tis the season to shop! Great deals are to be had as we search for the perfect gift, so we are all out there in stores, or online, spending on things we want and saving lots of money while we are at it- and it’s a great thing.
Unfortunately it’s also the season of theft and scams, so we need to be super careful about how we shop. One of my favorite things is to use gift cards, because they aren’t tied to an endless spending limit, or my checking account, or anything that provides a thief with personal information and funds (at my expense). I give these to my sister for Birthday gifts all the time – that way she can buy what she wants or she can add to it to get something a little more expensive if that’s her choice!
