This post brought to you by Sonoma-Cutrer Vineyards. All opinions are 100% mine. A get-together with friends and family is one of the most enjoyable ways to enjoy our days, and we cherish having loved ones over for a visit, especially during the autumn when the weather gets cooler and indoor gatherings are more cozy. • I actually don’t drink wine but am always happen to spend time with friends.

  • The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay sounds crisp and delicious. I bet the vanilla hint is especially good.

  • The Chardonnay sounds delicious and refreshing.

  • I like sweet wines, along the line of muscadine.

  • I love a great glass of red wine with friends. I drink this brand regularly! Great choice.

  • I’m NOT a wine expert at all. I love these reviews because I want to know which ones are worth trying and which ones aren’t. My mom use to drink wine before she went to bed each night and it helped with her depression and helped her sleep.

  • Penelope

My father is the same way, a glass of red wine nightly is good for his heart according to his doctor, and I find it can be a nice way to relax too.

  • I like a really, really sweet wine. And your afternoon sounds so adult. I miss adult only gatherings some times. 🙂

  • I’m not much of a wine drinker, but I enjoy a glass of chardonnay every now and then.

  • Now that sounds like my kind of afternoon!

  • I love serving wine while entertaining. My personal favorite is sparkling sangria.

  • I usually go with a Pinot Grigio or Chardonnay for myself, but a good Pinot Noir is also on hand for guests. I like to have both a red and white available.

  • I don’t drink wine, but I love to get together with my friends to chat & snack. I know they’d love your wine recommendations.

  • I always enjoy a glass of good Chardonnay. These all sound tasty!

For Little Train Conductors Who Want More Speed and Adventure #TrackMaster @ThomasParent

This post brought to you by Fisher-Price. All opinions are 100% mine. My boys love trains beyond anything right now. They love to build extensive tracks and run their train cars along the winding rails in circles, making Choo Choo! sounds as they go. It relaxes and engages them for hours, and they don’t mind […]

  • My son and daughter love these Thomas trains. They could play with them for hours.

  • So I was visiting my sister last weekend and she was commenting how she wished she would have purchased this Thomas train set for her boys instead of a competing brand – so that says something!

  • That’s so neat. My son would have loved that when he was little. He had to push his little Thomas train pieces.

  • I love your boys in those hats!! Little boys and trains, always a good combination.

  • I’m always so happy to see thomas is still around today and making great toys that kids can love with the show. He looks so cute in his hat.

  • I love the little train conductor hats they look so cute and definitely an awesome toy.

  • How fun! I’m sure that this was especially fun for the boys now that they’re getting older.

  • This looks like an awesome train set to get for little boys. My son may be 7 years old, but I can still see him going crazy with happiness over this entire set. I know he still loves his train conductor outfit a lot too. This would make a perfect gift idea.

  • Oh that is so cute! My kids are probably too old for Thomas, but you never outgrow train sets.

  • How cute! My daughter really gets into trains, but it will probably be awhile before I get her a set. 🙂

  • How adorable, my son would love one of these!

  • My grandkids love Thomas. They would love this set for sure.

  • How cute to hear their little train stories and tales as they play. This is precious!

  • My son is beginning to outgrow Thomas & Friends but thankfully my nephew is just starting to discover these new toys. This set looks like it would really capture his interest.

A Long Way Off

I love movies, but am not thrilled by the inundation of questionable, well-funded Hollywood productions that drown us regularly. My husband and I no longer go to the movies, and instead wait for friends to recommend movies to us, because frankly, if it’s acclaimed by Hollywood critiques, we know we will hate it. Those movies […]

  • It’s sad that there aren’t as many wholesome movies being made anymore.

  • I always want to like faith-based movies, but the acting always kills it for me. I’m not sure why that seems to be a common thread. It makes me sad.

  • I like faith based movies, I think you can always learn something from them, and they normally have a great story line. Sounds like a good movie!

  • I love all kinds of movies but really like a movie that says something

  • We try and find good faith based movies to watch – well produced ones are hard to find though. That being said more and more are coming out with larger budgets and I hope that they find a place in our society.

  • I haven’t heard of A Long Way Off. It sounds like a movie I’d really enjoy.

  • It sounds like a great film to watch together as a family. I know there aren’t always a ton of options for us to watch together that we don’t have to worry about.

  • I haven’t heard of this but it looks like something I could learn from by watching.

  • Excellent review. You’re right there aren’t enough wholesome movies like this one on the market anymore. I totally enjoyed doing a review of this movie. It was a pleasure to watch and definitely a movie that I could relate to on many levels.

  • I’m going to look for this… I too love seeing more faith-based movies. My son will actually be auditioning for a movie to be filmed in our area next summer that is through a christian production company.

  • Penelope

    That is really cool!

  • this is a great post and I completely agree with what you said! This movie looks great, I love films like this.

  • There definitely is some interesting themes in movies these days. It is good to have different movies to appeal to all.

  • I am not a person of faith myself but am always open for an interesting movie that promotes positive morals and values, especially if I don’t have to shield my children’s eyes during certain scenes.

Coffee Notes + Tic Tac Toe #IDelight @InDelight

A good cup of coffee is what gets me through my sleep-deprived days. Who am I kidding? A lot of good cups of coffee get me through each day, and I always turn to my favorite standby of coffee flavored with International Delight Hazelnut, but after seeing all the great flavors of International Delight others […]
