Some shows are hard to forget, and when you love the characters on a show like they are family (and even feel like you’re watching one grow up before your eyes), you become very attached.
And when they return? You feel ecstatic!
Girlmore Girls is returning to Stars Hollow for a four part special- Gilmore girls: A Year in the Life. It premieres on November 25th, bringing us right back to those daily cups of coffee at Luke’s and all the quirky antics of the gals we’ve missed… personally, I can’t wait!!! Ahhh!

Love family tv?
And if you love television shows about family, you may also want to catch up on Fuller House! I love this show, another old favorite that made me so happy when everyone reunited to keep it going. And my kids like it too, they think Kimmy Gibbler is just as funny today as I found her to be when I was a kid.
More great Netflix family tv:
1. Arrested Development– it is seriously, seriously dysfunctional (I would never want my family to be like this in any way whatsoever), and that is what makes it funny. Sort of a warning label family show.

2. Cristela – if you’re a woman trying to get your career off the ground, and living at home with your parents who want you to hurry up and get married (or at least get a real job instead of an unpaid internship), you’ll find camaraderieship here, and lots of laughs.
3. The Bernie Mac Show – when you’re there for family when they need you, the results, as well as the daily ups and downs of the craziness that is kids, is your reward. This show is sooo funny and so real, and helps us to laugh at what all parents go through.
4. The Ranch – another dysfunctional family, but honestly, doesn’t every family have its quirks? All perfect families are the same, but every imperfect family is unique in how it’s imperfect. The Ranch is a Netflix Original that took a while to grow on me, but I gave it a chance, and am so glad I did (and super happy it was renewed for another season).
5. Parks and Recreation – a show about how a group of people who work together are more like family than most families are… this is the type of family that lasts forever (and indeed, they reunite all the time).
When you want good family television, Netflix has lots to choose from!
