Making Weeknight Meals That Everyone Will Enjoy #OreIdaDinner

Dinnertime at the Guzman home often includes separate foods for everyone, because little man is a picky eater who does not eat what my husband and I eat. I don’t usually mind making something specifically for him, but there are some days that are just really busy, so I prefer to make dinnertime meals that everyone can enjoy. It saves me some time and work preparing and cleaning up, and I can focus more on quality family time and less on preparing individual meals.

Last night I made tater tots for the first time with Ore-Ida Tater Tots, inspired by my desire to find time-saving yet tasty meal ideas, and they were a hit (with everyone from little man to grandma). With a little ketchup, these perfectly bite sized potatoes were the right size for our little tot to munch up by himself, a golden brown color on the crispier outside, and light on the softer inside. They are ideal to enjoy as a snack during the day as well, while watching a movie with the tots or doing crafts.

A dinner of meat and potatoes is one my husband and I love, but my son is particular about how he has his potatoes, and if it’s not fries, it better be tater tots! We picked up Ore-Ida Golden Crinkles for another dinner this week since the Tater Tots were a hit with him.
