Family game night is a tradition in my family. Even though we are all grown, married, and have children, we still get together for game night at least once a month, alternating which sibling hosts. While the grandkids (six total now) all play together, the parents and grandparents break out the board games and cards and have a fun night of rolling dice, miming movie titles, and drawing clues.
Snacks are a big part of family game night, and this month we had the opportunity to try out BBQ Popcorn Chips from Popcorn, Indiana. BBQ Popcorn Chips … it sounds like the perfect snack, because what is better than BBQ, popcorn or chips? Popcorn, Indiana BBQ Chips are chips made from popcorn with a zesty barbecue flavor added on that is lip smacking good, and they are all natural.
We played Charades, Blurt!, and Monopoly late into the night and had a fun time as a family. For some reason I never do well with Monopoly (I’ve never even gotten to be the elusive car as my token during our family game night), but I’m a champ at Charades. Monopoly is my brother’s game and grandpa is awesome at Blurt!, and my sister, in-laws and husband all have other favorites. We noshed on our BBQ Popcorn Chips and some natural beverages, so everything tasted delicious and full of flavor, and it was all healthy and all natural, so the kids had some too. Popcorn is lighter, healthier, and lower in calories and fat than most snacks, and the barbecue flavor was a hit with the entire family.
We love family game nights! Monopoly is our favorite 🙂

I haven’t heard about these but I love all the different flavors!
I like Charades too, but I usually play it in the form of the board game Guesstures. Now I’m craving those chips though, P. Doggone it!
The only thing better than winning Family Game Night is enjoying yummy snacks on your way to victory!

I love game nights!!! Those would be a great snack to add to ours.
First of all — my kids would LOVE “popcorn chips”. Second, I can’t wait to really have “family game nights.” We kind of do it now — but my kids are so little and my husband is very type-a and competitive when it comes to game . .. it ends up being frustrating trying to teach games to a 3 year old and a 5 year old.
