My childhood was filled with fun nights playing board games, watching movies, and eating pizza, and it’s the same for my family today. Is there a better way to spend an evening? Pizza Nights are truly a timeless tradition, and Red Baron is celebrating 40 years of being a well known family pizza brand.
Red Baron frozen pizza stocks our freezer, and it’s no surprise. It’s never a disappointing evening when I heat up some Red Baron Pizza, just like when I was a tot 30 years ago, or a teen 15 years ago, or a college graduate 10 years ago. Whether playing, watching sitcoms, or studying for exams with friends, I remember those evenings being my best memories… they were the best times.
Some things never change. I loved it then and I love it now. I enjoyed spending time with family and friends then, and I enjoy it with my family and friends now.
#TBT to then…
Celebrating my friend turning 18 with a dinner on the water.

And now…
Celebrating good grades, every birthday, and general togetherness and fun with my sons with Red Baron Pizza for our family pizza night.

Why is it that doing what we did as kids and teens with our own families is so much more fun sometimes than forming new traditions? Is it because I have such great memories of those pizza nights? Because I want to have a sort of continuity in my life, or connecting to my children by recreating fun and this time, including my most favorite people too?
I’m not sure, but I do know that these years with my boys are the best of my life, and I hope they remember the memories we create. And I hope they remember the styles and hair too, because I’m betting ANYTHING they will look back at them the way I look back at the 80s!!!

Thank you to Red Baron for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to host a family pizza night!
