Ever in the mood to just snack on something, without making a whole meal out of it? John Wm. Macy’s CheeseSticks are just right- cheesy sourbread baked to a crispy, crunchy snack. With CheeseSticks in flavors like Garlic Romano or Cheddar & Scallion, CheeseCrisps in Cheddar Rosemary or Sesame Gruyère, and SweetSticks in Java Cinnamon or Madagascar Vanilla- and that is just a sampling- there is a huge variety to keep you wanting more.
John Wm. Macy’s CheeseSticks recently repackaged their CheeseSticks, CheeseCrisps, and SweetSticks, so now you can find them on shelves with their new packages and logo:

John Wm. Macy developed his original CheeseSticks recipe- hand-twisted, twice-baked appetizers made from sourdough, aged cheese and seasoned butter- in 1976 for his small California catering business, and they became an immediate crowd favorite. The rest is history. John Wm. Macy’s Cheesesticks is a family owned and run business, and their wholesome, natural treats made with 100% real ingredients– no GMOs or artificial flavors, colors or preservatives- are twice baked to the perfect crunch.
John Wm. Macy’s CheeseSticks are perfect on their own, in recipes, or as a side for salads. They are way tastier than typical garlic bread, and have many cheese varieties to pick from too- I love the Melting Parmesan CheeseSticks and the Garlic Romano CheeseSticks best. And best of all, I don’t have to bake anything. I just open a pack and pull out fresh CheeseSticks.
John Wm. Macy’s CheeseCrisps are tasty bites, and I’m finding they also work well crushed up and added over a casserole (the recipe I’m sharing today). Adding them to a kid’s lunch is a savory snack for school too.

John Wm. Macy’s SweetSticks are incredible as is, and can really tide over hungry kids for long car rides. They taste like dessert, and while they would be great added to an ice cream sundae or fruit dish, maybe even chopped up and added over a fruit filling and baked like a cobbler, they are so incredibly delicious as is that you don’t need to do anything but lay out a box for everyone to be happy… sooo good!
