Baby Turtle Red Carpet
I discovered Gulf County’s Baby Turtle Red Carpet in their Adventure Guide, and knew this would be an adventure my family would want to be part of. My sons love sea turtles- they collect turtle books and toys, and we visit them at our local EPA visiting center, so a family trip that allows us to enjoy time with these graceful creatures as part of the fun every year would be a rewarding and memorable annual family adventure. We would be able to stay up to date on how our little endangered friends are faring, and learn how dedicated volunteers are helping ensure the survival of budding new sea turtle lives…it would be thrilling to see some being born!
Seahorse Water Safari
I’m not sure what makes seahorses so appealing to the young at heart, but I find them so adorable, and my sons love them too. This adventure offers the opportunity to get up close and personal, via snorkel or scallop trips and sunset cruises, to these truly fascinating creatures.
Bike + Horseback Riding On The Beach
There are miles of beautiful coast along Gulf County, and you can visit different beaches daily. Watch eagles fly by, look for a dolphin parade, take the kids for a relaxing bike ride in the sun, or horseback ride along the water by sunset. This is real life, outdoors, in the fresh air and open sky…this is the good life.
