I happily admit I love making school lunch and snacks for my boys, and I also love getting creative with everything I make them. If you are looking for creative lunch ideas for your kids, you’ve come to the right place (and I’m using a favorite, Arla Dofino cheeses, in all of these!)
Arla Dofino is a naturally good addition to any on-the-go snack, so I keep them in my fridge and ready. They are great for school lunches and on-the-go snacks. Arla Dofino cheese include Harvati, Gouda, Edam and Fontina, all available in both slice and chunk, and when I’m creating lunch art for my son’s school lunches, sliced cheese is always the way to go- it’s easy to shape, especially with cookie cutters. And when we are on the go, it’s chunk cheese! It’s portable, easier to hold and pack for car rides, easier to take big bites of of on their own (no need for messy bread or anything else- a naturally good snack on it’s own) so for car snacks and on-the-go snacks, we love Arla Dofino chunk cheeses:
I simply cut up the cheese into one inch chunks, add some cute and safe picks for kids, pack it up, and throw them into my bag to take on the road- easy and tasty! Arla Dofino cheeses have been traditionally crafted in Wisconsin for more than 100 years and are free of added hormones, artificial flavors and preservatives. Our favorites are Edam (soooo good, the kids love it) and Gouda (my husband’s favorite…I could go either way between these, both are similarly tasty to me).

I loveeeeeee gouda cheese. It is hands down my favorite cheese in the entire world. It works well with wine and cheese night.

I dont think my daughter has ever tried gouda but she loves cheese, and I know I like gouda, so it would be great for lunch or snacks.
