Come Bearing Coffee Gifts #CreateDelight

This fall, with many holidays coming up so quickly, and my sons both starting school for the first time, my thoughts turned to all the things I’m grateful for. Probably because the sense of so much slipping away has been creeping up on me, a sense of so much changing that I have no control over, I find myself filled with a sense of wistfulness.

My sister moved to another state, taking her daughters (my sons’ favorite play mates) with her. I now have free time during the days, and while the feeling of rushing from one activity or chore to the next no longer overwhelms me, the feeling of my sons’ absence for so much time definitely tugs at me.

Holidays are coming up, and they are more meaningful than ever. It’s those few chances to come back together and reconnect with the people I used to see daily and spend all my time with, but now only see once every few months when an event or holiday brings us together. I find myself trying to hang on to what I used to take for granted- simple time spent together.

Now during my days, as I sit alone typing at my computer with my comforting hot cup of Caramel Macchiato coffee inches away, I’ve been thinking about ways to reconnect more often with those that were such an important part of my life… ways to bring some warmth to their days and mine as the weather grows chillier for us all. And I thought a visit complete with a homemade coffee gift basket would be pretty awesome, since leisurely drinking coffee together with friends are some of my best memories.

Create Delight For Loved Ones With A Coffee Gift Basket

To surprise a friend with a homemade coffee gift basket, take a basket (any will do) and fill it with everything you need for a fun coffee break together- coffee, International Delight creamer, sugar, mugs, and a little surprise gift like a beloved book or candle. Bring it by to surprise a friend and spend some time together reconnecting. It’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s fun.

My husband and I currently love imported international coffees (there is something very appealing about very strong coffee when it’s back to school time) and adding in my current favorite creamer from International Delight, Caramel Macchiato, makes it feel like we brought the coffee-house into our homes, and into our friends homes.

A coffee basket is a great idea. Its good to bring to a friend or someone who is feeling under the weather too.

That is such a great idea! Get togethers generally revolve around coffee, so it makes perfect sense.

I think this is such a wonderful idea. Nothing says, I’m sorry we lost touch like a basket of coffee. I love it!

Is it weird that my daughter has an obsession with International Delight? She asked for some for her birthday this year (she’ll be 12) just so she could drink it straight lol. I love the idea of a coffee gift basket. It’s the perfect gift for coffee lovers!
