Dad’s in charge, and the best times around here are when the boys and daddy get to have a fun evening alone together. The rules are different, it’s more fun and relaxed, and it gives mom a break too! Of course I still set everything up for Dad’s Night, so I make sure to have their clothes, toys, and food ready!
“Dad’s Turn” Game Plan:
1. Break out the pj’s early, because there is no formality when mom isn’t around
2. Set out the playing cards, board games, and video games
3. Leave necessities out on the counter (because no one can ever find them otherwise but mom)
4. Put a few cans of Campbell’s Chunky soups on the counter for dinner
When my husband is alone with our boys, I keep Campbell’s Chunky soup out so he can just grab them, pop open the lid, heat them up for 2-3 minutes, and serve. They are made with big pieces of meat and veggies in great flavors guys love, like BBQ Seasoned Pork (this one got a huge thumbs up), in a thick, hearty, delicious soup.
My husband just doesn’t like to cook, and can do nothing beyond boiling water. If it required anything more, it isn’t happening. I don’t want him to feel frustrated on the nights he’s alone with his boys, because it’s their sacred guy time, they should have fun together, so, Campbell’s products step in to make it easy and fun on dad’s nights. Campbell’s offers a variety of products, new ones all the time that can step in and make parties and busy nights better, and make sure everyone is fed and happy.
My husband can serve Campbell’s Chunky soup simply heated up and in bowls, or over rice (which doesn’t break his rule, since cooking rice requires nothing more than boiling water). Either way…yummy guys night when it’s dad’s night at home, and mom returns to a house full of satisfied men who are well fed and ready for bed.
