When we moved last year out of our condo, we had a disasterous experience trying to find things when it came time to apply for our mortgage. Everything we owned was stored in brown boxes labeled in pen, in three different locations, and it wasn’t until we moved eight months later for the second and final time that we found where everything was. For our second move, we labeled everything with our Brother P-Touch Labeler, and the difference was night and day.
Now that we are officially in our new home, everything is more organized because everything is properly stored and clearly marked with black letters on white adhesive labels, courtesy of our Brother P-Touch Labeler, on all visible sides. We know where everything is! Using our labeler makes it so much easier to quickly and neatly make multiple labels that are easy to read, so I now know which box has our past tax returns, which is storing our winter clothes, and which has toys our sons have outgrown and are ready to be donated. I don’t have to reopen ten boxes to find that elusive one that is storing our coffee maker, and the time, energy and money saved by being more organized with our Brother P-Touch Labeler is incredible.
What is next for us? I plan to donate a lot more stuff, clearing out our house more and helping others at the same time, and label each box properly so I know where it’s headed- baby clothes for new moms, kitchenware for the church flea market, recreational items for our local volunteer firefighters, etc…the labeler makes it all easy peasy!
