I love cappuccinos, and after the demise of my old cappuccino maker, I felt pretty sad because I didn’t think I’d find another great espresso and cappuccino maker in my price range (and as a busy mom I can’t go out to a coffee house every time I feel like getting a delicious caffeine boost). Then I learned Staples sells coffee makers (really??), like this espresso and cappuccino maker from Capresso that I was sent to review; it makes cafe quality cappuccinos, and now resides on prime real estate on my kitchen counter.

The Capresso EC100 Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Machine is really well made, with sturdy stainless steel parts, and I’m kind of in love with it. It look just like a miniature of the models in restaurants. On top there is a spot to put a couple of demitasse cups (which I don’t have yet, so I put my iced coffee glasses there). It produces both steamed milk and froth, depending on your preference, and can make up to two crema espressos at a time. You can use your own ground coffee with it or those (neat, convenient) espresso pods, and everything that would need to be cleaned (the water container, sieves and drip tray) are all removeable. Everything is really well built and put together, I’m so happy I found it!
I don’t know when the last time you stopped by a Staples was, but apparently they carry everything now. I know they carry extensive office supplies and organizers, but they also offer eReaders, cameras, and even medical supplies (for first aid kits), and since there is one close to me and their service has always been great, I’m thrilled. Mostly, though, I’m thrilled to have found such a fabulous cappuccino maker for less than $150 (and they have even more at even lower price points- anyone can make cappuccinos at home now).
(hint hint: Mother’s Day gift idea)
Staples also sells a “stress relief” button… you press it when you are overwhelmed, and it tells you “That was easy”. If you’ve seen this, bought it, use it, I thought I would share this with you (because it’s so funny!):
Staples.com provided product for review. The thoughts and opinions expressed are strictly my own. Feel free to shop their entire line of coffee makers online.

Goodness, I so want one of these now. I don’t know how I would get through my day without my latte.
Very cool!
What a cool cappuccino maker! I am not a big fan of cappuccino drinks but my daughter is, she would probably beg me to buy one of these if she saw it! 😉
My mother has one and she uses it quite often. We don’t drink coffee or anything like it but I know she loves her machine.
That sounds good right now…I haven’t had a cappucino in ages!
Can you believe I have never had a cappuccino? Matt would love one of these though.
That’s a very nice appliance!
I’ve never had a cappuccino machine — I’ve always been intimidated by them. Is it really that easy to use?
So cool!
I have a Francis!Francis! in my basement. I keep meaning to bring it back up, but I just don’t have the shelf space.
This looks like fancy. I wouldn’t mind having one for my kitchen.
Very nice!
I don’t drink them enough to warrant getting one. But it would be nice…
I would love a cappuccino machine. My husband loves it and uses the yucky powdered stuff. I visited Staples online not too long ago and was surprised at all the small appliances they sold, who knew?
Oh to have one of these to add to my collection of coffee machines 🙂 I just make Espresso in my Tassimo right now. Not as “authentic” but it works in a pinch!
I love cappuccino!
The price sure is right!
Okay, this is on my wish list!
It’s as easy as a regular coffee maker with ground coffee (even easier if you use pods, they are neat and can be tossed after using). It’s just forcing water through ground coffee, the process is just a bit different 🙂
That’s a beauty!
I was surprised at their selection as well. I’m so glad you enjoy your cappucchino maker! We have some friends with the husband being from Italy and a daily cappucchino is part of their normal routine. Pavlov & Easy Button? Too funny but poor roommate.
It looks so pretty. Can I say that about a kitchen appliance?
My siblings and I went in on a cappuccino for my mom years ago and she never used it. I would love to have one just to have one.
That is so sleek looking! Congratulations!
What a great machine!!
would you believe I’ve never had a cappuccino before ?
How nice to have cappuccinos at home!
What a great way to indulge. I had no idea that espresso pods are available!
I’d LOVE one of those! Also my Mother-in-Law has a Staples button at her work & my three year old loves playing with it, so one day when I was doing something & said “That was easy!” my son asked why I was saying what the button at Grandma’s work says. lol
That is a really pretty maker!
Looks like a nice cappuccino maker. I always forget that Staples has other things besides office supplies.
That’s a really good price for a cappuccino maker.
