Celebrating Real Men

quotes about fathers

Looking for gift ideas for your husband or dad? Here are some unique ideas for men that are big hits and will make him realize just how much he means to you.

Great Gift Ideas For Men

1. Get him an adventure. If he always wanted to skydive or race around a real racetrack, organize it for him and let him have fun. It doesn’t matter if you find it scary. He’ll be thrilled (and think you are totally cool).

2. Create a brag book with photos of your man doing great things, such as running a marathon, accepting an award, playing with his children, etc. Include newspaper clippings, awards, etc and wrap it in a beautiful package to present to him in front of his children and family, bragging about him some more while you do it.

3. Get him two tickets to something he loves, and join him without complaining, even if it’s not your cup of tea (unless it’s your dad- then send him off with your mom). Whether it’s tickets to his favorite sports game, a monster truck rally, a concert for a band he’s a big fan of, etc, surprise him and happily join him with a big smile. You don’t have to like the sport or band, but you get to enjoy your company and be happy he is having a great time.

4. If you married as high school sweethearts and couldn’t even afford rings, how about buying him his first wedding ring or giving him a family heirloom of a simple gold ring with sentimental value.

5. Get him that splurge he’s been craving, whether it’s a video game, a new camera, or a drum set. Life is so much more fun when we get to have new toys once in a while, and if he’s a great husband and a great dad, he deserves it!

I did 3 already!!! They had a Star Wars One Man Comedy Show in NYC… I bought tickets for it… and went with him. I’m not a big Star Wars fan so I didn’t get most of it, but he had a blast and that is what counts. Then when we came out of the show there were Storm Troopers and Darth Vadar outside and he was in heaven! We had to walk through Times Square to get to the theater from where we parked, which he’s never been too. He was amazed about the whole scene of that area. It was so nice to be able to SURPRISE HIM because he didn’t know what we were going to see.. and let him experience something he’s never done before.

Sorry for basically the blog post on your post from me hehe.
