To Our Health @LoveMySilk

When I was planning my resolutions, I knew 2014 would be a year of growth and change for me. It’s a year I am trying new things, learning new things, experimenting and growing in lots of new ways, and having so much fun with it all.

I love being a mom, but I’ve been so outwardly focused on my family solely for so long that this year I know I need to do a little self focus too, and make sure I’m nurtured. This is my year to grow and have some adventures, and focus on things I’ve always wanted to try for so long…to bloom more fully into the woman I should be. I’m focused on getting into great shape, and living a fuller life both with my family and on my own.

I love Silk Almondmilk, and buy it for my family (namely my sons and myself), mainly to add variety to my sons’ diets but also because it has an awesome nutty flavor that is rich, and it has more calcium than dairy milk- great for women in general and also for my growing boys. For my husband, we buy Silk Coconutmilk because he absolutely loves that. We also love that it’s an easy way to add more plants to our diet. My husband adds Silk Coconutmilk to his morning coffee, and my sons drink a glass of Silk Almondmilk daily straight from a glass (not only does it have lots more calcium than dairy milk, I found an Almondmilk with fiber and protein too!).

Now that I’m getting back into shape myself, making sure I have more time to go for walks, and actively trying to eat more nutritiously, Silk is a perfect fit for me. It has only 90 calories a glass, helping me watch my caloric intake without sacrificing great flavor or nutrition. Taking care of myself makes me feel more energetic and alert, and just happier, and I look better too. I feel excited every day again and can’t to jump into Spring!

Switching to Silk is an easy, delicious way to start adding more plants to your diet. And like the plants Silk is made from, when your body gets everything it needs to be healthy, it blooms.
