The Toys”R”Us Big Book Is Here!

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Toys“R“Us . All opinions are 100% mine.

The Toys”R”Us Big Book has arrived! That means it’s time to make some hot chocolate, gather around the kids, and pore over the bestest, most amazingly cool toys available for kids now. Read on to Get Inspired!

My kids are thrilled!!!

They each made their Wish List for Santa, after choosing their crayon color and settling into their chairs to get ready to take turns turning the pages of The Great Big Toys”R”Us Book of AWWWESOME. There are so many fun, silly, educational, and unique toys to make the kids happy, and my sons let me know exactly what they hoped Santa would leave under the Christmas tree this year.

John’s Wish List:

1. Anything Star Wars LEGOs, in particular Captain Rex’s AT-TE and the Rebel U-Wing Fighter. My sons are major Star Wars fanboys, they love the movies, the toys, and they love LEGOs, so it was a natural choice.
2. Pie Face and Pop the Pig board games – they love board games, so these were two choices, but they pretty much scanned the whole page.
3. A Casio keyboard (because he has been wanting to learn an instrument and keeps reminding me ♥︎)

+ 14 more items throughout the book that look like just as much fun to me as he seems to find them.

Kevin’s Wish List:

1. Kano’s Computer kit – let’s your kids put the hardware together themselves! STEM toys are my favorite, and a toy that a child builds to play, including plug and play components, a DIY speaker, and even coding to make music and apps, is pretty much ideal. ** This is my personal favorite **
2. EduScience Experimentation Station – it’s only available at Toys”R”Us and includes twenty experiments that teach children science concepts such as air pressure and chemical reactions. It looks like a mad scientist station too, adding to the fun factor.
3. Hot Wheels City Mega Metropolis – because it’s cool. That is all.

+ 23 more items

(I hope they were very good this year if they are expecting all that!)

This year shopping for toys was more interactive than ever, because Toys”R”Us lets us add our picks directly to our online Wish List simply by taking pictures of what we want. The boys snapped their favorites with my smart phone and the mobile website link recognized the images, adding the items to their Wish Lists. The new 2D scanning feature is a very easy way to populate their wish lists virtually, no trip to the store needed, and no work by me.

The Toys”R”Us Wish List is a great way to make sure the boys get what they want for the holidays (and I can quickly scan the list for a once-over to make sure it’s all mom-approved), and it makes it easier for grandpa, nana, and everyone else who wants to help Santa make the boys super happy this year know exactly what to get.

We started using Toys”R”Us’s Wish List feature a few years back and it works out terrifically… usually we go in the store and the boys get a shopping gun (one each) and then run around scanning what they want. This is soo much easier! I love the 2D scanning feature Toys”R”Us now offers!

You may as well get ready for some fun shopping ahead, because ’tis the season! Toys”R”Us is donating $1 to Toys for Tots for every new Wish List created on their site through November 19th (up to $100,000), so in addition to keeping you organized, it’s helping Toys for Tots, so go ahead and create your Wish List!

Toys”R”Us has all of the hottest toys for the holiday season!
