We’re pretty crafty here, and like to create homemade projects. Everything has more value when it’s handmade, especially when it’s made by the hands of your children, so this year I had my son make his own stocking with Duck Brand® Holiday designs tape- Duck the Halls!
My son loves anything that lets him use his safety scissors, so armed with poster board, scissors, and Duck Brand® Holiday designs tape, we created some Christmas stockings (and because it’s tape, no glue or other adhesive was necessary- fun and easy!)

To make our Christmas stockings, follow these easy steps:
1. Fold poster board in half and cut out the shape of a stocking. Leave the folded side intact as the base of the sock, and cut one side a bit narrower than the other (about 1/2 cm).
2. On the cut side, fold over the 1/2 cm extra poster board to enclose the stocking pocket and make it useable as a stocking for your mantel or tree.
3. Decorate with Duck Brand® Holiday Designs tape! Remember to tape a piece of string on top while decorating to hang the stocking with.
It was hard to pick a favorite design so I used them all in our various crafts. The available Duck Brand® Holiday Prints are:
– Seasonal Sweets
– Snowman
– Holiday Bows
– Penguin
I gave my son his scissors and let him cut the tape- just a heads up, the Duck Brand® tape is strong! Now that I see it in action, I can think of a million things to do with it, from decorations to practical uses where we need strong packaging tape. My son went to town covering one stocking with penguins (he loves them) and then we decorated a second stocking for his brother, and hung them on our tree (one day when we have a mantel, they will go there).
