Our lives became a lot easier when little man was fully potty trained. He was able to go to nursery school (which he loved), we could leave the house without having to tote extra diapers for him, and frankly, it saved us a lot of time. Having a second baby when the first child is potty trained is much easier.
But then accidents started to happen at night. They were sporadic, but if we forgot to have him use the bathroom before going to bed, if he was in a particularly deep sleep, or if he was simply having a bad dream, he’d have an accident. It happened about three times a month, which doesn’t sound bad, unless you are a mom with a baby who knows how precious sleep is.
I didn’t relish waking up to change my son when he wet the bed, to change his sheets, or to have to do an emergency wash to make sure the sheets weren’t stained, etc. And he wasn’t happy waking up in a wet bed either. Grouchiness all around, at night and the next morning.

Enter GoodNites Underwear, plush, super-absorbant pants featuring Spiderman that he can slip into before bed. He actually asks for the “Spiderman underwear” when it’s time to get ready for bed (huge fan), and no one knows his “underwear” are actually GoodNites Underwear for bedwetting. As far as I’m concerned, he is doing great. An accident here and there doesn’t bother me and most nights he wakes up with a dry GoodNite.
What is most important though is that he doesn’t feel bad about himself anymore. We remember to have him use the bathroom before he goes to sleep, cut back a bit on the before sleep water intake, and if he does have an accident, it’s not the end of the world (or anyone’s good night sleep). And they are comfy, so he can wear them while playing before bed, or if we are going on a trip and know he will fall asleep in his car seat- they are discreet and you can’t tell he has them on while wearing regular clothes over them.

GoodNites Underwear are the most absorbent pants for boys and girls ages 4 and up. Specially made to protect while lying down, they help keep pajamas and bedding dry all night long and feature plush comfort with a discreet design. GoodNites Underwear help them maintain a sense of privacy and self-esteem until your child outgrows bedwetting. With GoodNites Underwear, thereโs no need for a child to worry about wet sheets and other disruptions.

Love the Spiderman print! Glad you’ve found an overnight solution for your little man.
We never tried GoodNites. We will have to for our next one.
I’m really glad it helps both him feel better and you feel more secure knowing accidents aren’t as difficult to clean up. ๐
These are a great option for those accidents that sometimes happen in the middle of the night.
I love that they’ve partnered with Marvel and have a spider man print now. So glad they are working for you!
I’m going to pick these up when we run thru our current brand. Adam (6) had the occasional accident at night but my 3 year old just day time potty trained so he is in a pull up overnight but they seem more diaper-ish and I’m not a fan.
It’s great that these can help with occasional accidents, especially since they are similar to underwear and don’t make your son feel like a baby!
It’s always a process when it comes to nighttime training. Cutting out water before bed was also something that helped us.
I love that it makes him more confident and happy knowing he doesn’t have to worry if he has an accident.
I know these sure help so many parents when it comes to the potty training stage.
It’s nice to have a backup solution during those tougher times. I know we’ll be using these too.
These have been great for my daughter & I must say the Spidey GoodNites look even more like real underwear than the girls do. No wonder he is excited to wear them.
Zoe wets the bed often due to her urinary reflux. She continues to say GoodNites are her favorite and most comfortable!
We used these for my oldest when she was night training.
Awww sweet boy, it’s so hard when our babies are hard on themselves. They’re too young to be doing that! So glad these are helping him.
These are so cute!! We use Goodnights for girls and love the Fairies prints.
I don’t believe I ever tried GoodNites, but it sounds great!
I am glad he doesn’t feel bad about it anymore – definitely a great confidence booster!
My 3yo has an occasional accident during the night, so I always make sure to use GoodNites on nights when she falls asleep without using the bathroom first.
I agree there is nothing more valueable than sleep when you have a baby and having to do a midnight cleaning of kids and bedding messes that up for sure.
Those are such cute little designs! And it’s great they make a nighttime version to help little ones out when they’re learning.
I’m still debating if I should start potty training M earlier. I’m going to see if they have itty bitty sizes for her since she’s a peanut ๐
Oh my gosh, she is young! You can try, but just remember not to push it too hard so you don’t both end up miserable- she is such a cute little peanut, love her! ๐
