A local family photographer, Jane Goodrich, recently traveled to my home for a fun afternoon of photographing my children and their cousins. It was the first time we had a professional photographer shoot our children, and we not only had a great time with Jane, but we now have some beautiful photos to decorate the walls of our home, and wonderful group shots of the grandchildren for grandma and grandpa to cherish.
Jane is a terrific children’s photographer. She engaged our kids, was sweet, silly, tickled, wore colorful socks, made funny noises, anything and everything to get those smiles and funny expressions, and she was great at it. I was so happy to see the results, which included some really funny photo moments that we cherish:
Jane came to my home and spent two hours chasing around our little guys, patiently getting them ready for their photographs (changing clothes, posing) and taking pictures as they played, sat, roamed about, etc.

Those are so precious! We only did professional photos of our daughter once, when she was 3 months old. I wish we would have done it more, but I’m glad at least that we have those ones.
