A gentleman once told me that God made babies so adorable because they could be so gosh darned annoying at times. He gave them chubby hands and long eyelashes and sweet cheeks so that when they keep us up all night or cry endlessly for no reason, we’d tolerate it because they are so irresistible.
He was right. When I look at his sweet little face as he sleeps, nothing he does while he is awake seems that bad.
Whoever told you that was a wise man. Even when my daughter pushes every button I have during her waking hours, once she’s asleep she’s just so peaceful that everything is right with the world.

He’s so cute! &I have WAY too many photos of my son sleeping for the same reason. I don’t get how the little boy who literally runs in circles around our kitchen for hours can turn into the peaceful cherub at night.

I love when my “babes” are asleep. Lochlan has been crawling in bed with us lately, not sure why. But when I wake up in the morning and see him with his eyes closed and long lashes … its just so sweet.
so incredibly sweet. I love nap time too but when I see them sleeping so angelic like this it makes me want to wake them up to play… then I regret it, lol.
