Arm & Hammer Baking Soda Challenge #SwitchAndSave

It’s now month three of my Arm & Hammer Switch and Save challenge, and this month I was challenged to replace my current baking soda with Arm & Hammer baking soda.

Is there another baking soda? I always thought baking soda was synonymous with Arm & Hammer. Little do they know that I already use it all the time, and pretty much can’t live without it. We recently moved, and A&H baking soda was recruited to scour, scrub, clean and brighten tubs, sinks, counters, stove tops, and more (and needless to say, it did the job). I LOVE it, I use it all the time (I even wrote a post about all the magnificent uses of baking soda) because it’s an affordable way to safely and gently clean practically everything without scratching, to whiten without chemicals, and it’s safe in case my boys get into it (I don’t keep any chemicals in the house), plus I actually like the smell of Arm & Hammer baking soda.

So no real challenge here.

But, since they threw down the gauntlet, and I accepted, I have to write something, so I’m challenging myself to find some new uses for Arm & Hammer baking soda that I never knew of before. Really, every house should have at least half a dozen of these (in your fridge, freezer, and a few to clean with), and I’ll find a slew of new uses even I didn’t know about to share with you in a couple of weeks. I’m excited about it, because that means I’ll have learned some new ways to use one of my favorite cleaning products myself. Stay tuned! (and you can find Arm & Hammer on facebook here)
