Blueberry Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller

Parents of multiple children need multiple products, and when it comes to getting around it’s no different. It’s not practical to have separate strollers for each child, and older children may not want to be strapped into a stroller anyway, but they still get tired. Busy moms on the go can’t stop each time her tired child wants to sit or be carried, so Joovy has come up with a solution for parents with multiple children, the Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller, which combines a stroller for younger children with a sit or stand-on feature for your second, older child who may crave independence at times.

We had the opportunity to try out the Blueberry Caboose Ultralight Stand-On Tandem Stroller from Joovy, a light-weight tandem stroller that allows parents to have one child in the front (from birth if we have an infant car seat that is compatible), and a second child in back who has the option to sit, stand, or neither (they can walk next to the stroller and simply hop on and off at will). It’s been extremely cold in New York lately (the highest temperature in weeks has been 30 degrees), so we bundled up well before heading out to try out our Joovy Caboose Ultralight Stroller, and little man and his cousin fought over who would sit where. The front must have been very comfortable, because once little man was seated, he didn’t want to come out, despite the frigid weather.

We love the convenience of being able to transport two children in various ways, especially with our independent little ones who change their minds at the drop of a hat, and we love the look and color of our blueberry Joovy Caboose Tandem Stroller. We became fans of Joovy after we were gifted a Joovy Kooper for our first son, so we knew he’d be happy and comfortable in it too, and now that little man #2 is on the way, we feel prepared to get around with both boys.

Putting our new stroller together was pretty easy. The only part that took a bit of work was the rear tires. The Ultralight Tandem Stroller is about 20% lighter than the original Joovy Caboose, which is great since our condo is on the second floor of our garden apartments and I’m seven months pregnant. We kept the snack tray and canopy on for our photos, but both detach, and not only does the front seat of the stroller recline in case your child falls asleep, but the foot rest is adjustable as well for children with longer legs.
