The weather is going to start turning cooler, and my mind has started to plan ahead for the upcoming New York fall. Thoughts of cozy snuggling under a warm blanket with a great cup of coffee make me feel happy (cold weather does not). I found some great products to help us all ease into the autumn that I’m sharing below:

OutIn Nano Espresso Maker
While I’m snuggling up in my cozy Mozy, having a great cup of something hot (espresso?) helps me savor the moment even more. The OutIn Nano allows me to have fresh espresso anywhere (really!). I can’t exactly carry an entire espresso maker everywhere I go, and I’m not going to pop into a restaurant or coffee house every time I want a delicious cup of joe, paying a small fortune and derailing my busy schedule. Instead, I use the OutIn Espresso maker (I got a beautiful one in teal), a portable espresso machine so I can even make myself coffee in the middle of the woods without an outlet (the battery lasts a long time before needing to be recharged- I believe about 200 hot water brews?- and can be charged in your car). It’s amazing! It’s a space saver (fits into my tote bag) and easy to use and clean and looks great too. The OutIn Nano heats up water quickly and delivers a perfect espresso shot with rich, creamy crema on top, my own little mechanical barista, and it has a built in frother so I can make lattes and cappuccinos too (so I do admit I bring along a small cinnamon dispenser too because I love frothy cappuccino with cinnamon most of all). This means I can enjoy it at work, on a road trip, in my backyard without having to go back inside, etc.
I will be honest with you, as someone who has a popular pop coffee maker brand on my counter at home, I never really understood anyone who drank black coffee without lots of things added it to flavor up the bitter taste. Maybe it’s because those packaged pads are not that fresh (when were the beans ground up?) or maybe because the grounds are boiled in a plastic pod, but I never liked the taste and never use it (my husband uses it to make a quick coffee to caffeinate before he goes to work, but… I never got the appeal). Finally, because this time of year, spicy beverages are big and I can admit I sometimes like to indulge in a pumpkin frappuccino or the like quite a bit, there is the coolest way to make ice: ICEBREAKER Nordic.
