Bugs are the bane of my existence this time of year, and I needed a solution to enjoy the best time of year without being plagued by flying insects like house flies, moths, fruit flies, gnats, and mosquitoes. I also try to maintain a natural home because my family lives here, and their health is the most important thing to me. Zevo is a new plug-in flying insect trap that lets you keep your home a chemical insecticide-free zone while still battling those pesky party crashers from invading your space- modern pest control that is a natural alternative for pesticides.
Zevo Flying Insect Trap is an eco-friendly way to control flying insects indoors without chemical insecticides, mess, or odors, and after plugging it in, without much further thought either. We tend to get a lot of bugs every year (the trade-off of living in a tree-lined neighborhood with ponds nearby), and just figured we were stuck with it, because I really don’t like spreading chemicals indoors where my family lives, eats, sleeps, and breathes. I’m so happy there is a chemical insecticide-free option, because I love to entertain in the spring and summer (indoors and outdoors) and only want invited guests to come- no bugs allowed!
Zevo Flying Insect Trap
I recently set up a Zevo Flying Insect Trap Starter Kit to start ridding my home of flying insects. It comes with a plugin and cartridge to start, plus two additional replacement cartridges. It’s easy Do It Yourself pest control that doesn’t take more effort than plugging it in, and after it’s full, replacing the cartridges. It emits a soft blue light that attracts the flying insects, and you will usually start seeing results within 24-48 hours. Zevo uses the insects’ natural instincts against them with the enticing UV blue light bio-attractant that continuously attracts and traps flying insects. The paper inside that is lined with the Zevo logo has a powerful adhesive that you never have to touch. No zap noise, no odors, and when the cartridge is full, just toss and replace.
Zevo works best when placed where flying insects get into your home (think covered patios and garages) or where they gather (kitchens and entryways). I placed mine in the kitchen and near our front entryway, since those are my worst areas for flies and gnats. Near the trash cans is also a great spot! You can move it around to see where you get the best results (test a location for about two days for effectiveness) and if you can’t see Zevo, insects can’t either, so don’t hide it behind any curtains or furniture. Another hint: I had to move the fruit bowl, because flies like fruit as much as we do.
If you can turn off competing lights you aren’t using, that will make the Zevo’s soft blue light even more noticeable, because it’s that light that flying insects like mosquitoes and flies can’t resist. They also follow each other, so once you catch the first one, more will follow. Just remember Zevo is only for flying insects and for indoor use only.
You shouldn’t have to choose between your health and bugs
It’s been an unfortunate reality that we usually have to choose between the bother of bugs and being exposed to chemicals in the air or on our body- chemicals that are strong enough to kill those bugs. With Zevo, you don’t have to choose anymore. You can evict those flying insects from your home without any worries about what you are exposing your family to. Your young children and pets aren’t at risk, and you can enjoy the warm months of the year without swatting your skin or rushing to wrap up food in your home around the clock.
Zevo is simple to use, can effectively keep flying insects away, and is chemical-free. I really can’t ask for more from my pest control. FYI, the cartridges are recyclable, and last up to 45 days or until full… that is over a month of not thinking about mosquitoes, fruit flies, gnats and moths!
