Find The Hottest Holiday Toys At Toys”R”Us

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Toys“R“Us . All opinions are 100% mine.

Christmas is almost here, and I’ve been making my list and checking it twice. Between decorating our home, shopping through everyone’s Wish Lists, and planning out holiday fun and parties, it’s been busy around here!

I’ve been shopping at Toys“R“Us a lot, usually to pick up presents for the boys’ friends, cousins, and classmates. I’ve been shopping mostly for my boys, who luckily don’t read my blog yet, because they think Santa is getting them all those gifts I have hidden around the house.

I also pick up Toys”R”Us gift cards to gift to their teachers who have small children, and of course video games for hubby, educational toys and puzzles to save for the rest of the year (love anything science related), and pretty packaging for all those presents we are getting for everyone. I can find the hottest toys at Toy”R”Us, which is pretty much Cool Toy Central… if your kid wants it, Toys”R”Us definitely has it.

We are counting down the days until Christmas, and this year we have a handmade, felt Advent calendar that we hung on the wall to make the countdown more fun for the boys. It is the first year we did this, and each day I have little treats for them to find in the pocket for that day.

The best surprises are LEGO Super Heroes and Action Toys, because they are tiny and fit perfectly into the little pockets and boxes of most Advent countdown calendars, and since my boys love LEGOs so much, they get so excited on the days they find a new LEGO character.

When I head to Toys”R”Us or shop their site online, I pick up the LEGO sets they let me know they wanted the most from the Toys”R”Us Big Book of Awesome, and take out their favorite characters to put into the pockets of the Advent calendar. Each day as they get closer to Christmas, more of the various LEGO sets are pieced together for a big build-up for the final day, and on Christmas Day there is a big time gift avalanche in this house.

Other days I put in lollipops and candies from multipacks divided up so they get a couple each day. It’s always a surprise, so they don’t know if they will get a treat or a toy on a particular day. Toys”R”Us has candy multipacks too so I can pick everything I need up on the same shopping trip, and then come home and get it all ready for everyone.

There is so much going on at Toys”R”Us, especially during the holidays. There are great deals and holiday sales, and I stay in touch on social media and through email so I don’t miss out on any surprise sales or special offers.

If you haven’t started your holiday shopping yet, it’s time to get started! Check out Toys“R“Us online or hand your kids the Big Book Of Awesome and let them pick out their favorites!
