Health and fitness are often on our minds, especially as the weather turns warmer and images of days filled with fun activities on the beach fill our minds. We want to have energy and stamina, and look fit and in shape. Sometimes, a little help getting us there is a great thing.
Aloha protein products are clean, organic, pure and powerful. They are vegan, plant-based, and full of great things we need, while being free of the things we don’t, like gluten, soy, and anything artificial. Aloha is available at Target and comes in both protein powder- great for power drinks or as an ingredient in high protein recipes- and as power bars.
Aloha Plant Based Protein Bars come in a tasty peanut butter chocolate chip flavor and boast 18g of plant protein in each bar, in addition to 15% DV of Iron and 6g of fiber. They are organic, gluten and dairy free, vegan, and contain nothing artificial- no GMOs.
Whether you just want to enhance your daily intake of important things your body needs, or are powering up to be healthier and more fit, Aloha’s pure and powerful ingredients result in amazing products that can steer you toward your goals, and Aloha bars are perfect for early days when you have no time for breakfast, a boost during the day, or while on the road.
The powder is great to add in to your power smoothies and morning breakfast shakes, but also to bake with, so I recently used it when making my high fiber almond protein muffins. Sooo good! Aloha plant-based protein powder contains ingredients like coconut cream and sugar, vanilla bean, apple juice and monk fruit extract, so you can imagine how utterly delicious it is- perfect to add to those breakfast drinks to start the day with yumminess!
If you like to bake, here is my almond muffin recipe recreated to include the protein-packed Aloha Vanilla Bean powder.
Almond Protein Morning Muffins
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
2 scoops Aloha protein powder
1/4 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup almonds, crushed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup raisins
1. Preheat oven to 400º F and lightly butter muffin pan.
2. Stir flour, baking powder, Aloha powder, sugar, and crushed almonds together in a large bowl with a wooden spoon until well blended.
3. In a separate bowl, beat egg and stir in vanilla and melted butter, then pour mixture into flour. Mix batter lightly until moist without over-mixing. Add in raisins and stir a few more times.
4. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full with batter, and bake for about 20-25 minutes, until bursting over top of muffin cups with golden brown color.
These muffins are a delicious and healthy way to start the day (and they are homemade, and make your kitchen smell amazing while baking).
