One Pan Penne With Black Olives and Shredded Parmesan Recipe – Delicious Dinner, Pronto!

If there is one thing I just don’t have enough of, it’s time. I wish I had more time to play with my kids, attend fun events, or even just sit and read a book. What I don’t want to do is spend more time in the kitchen preparing meals than I absolutely have to (unless my sons are helping me out), so I’ve been creating our family meals with Barilla® Pronto™, a one-pan pasta solution with no boiling, no draining…no kidding.

Moms know that every moment is precious, and when we find something that works well, we share it to help other moms. I recently picked up Barilla® Pronto™ Penne, and discovered it really is a faster way to have a great one-pan pasta dinner on the table quickly. I added it to a skillet with 3 cups of cold water, set it to high and ten minutes later, added in whatever I wanted to make our family dinner that day. There was no time spent waiting around for it to boil, and I didn’t have to dirty a colander or extra dishes to drain the pasta. I just added in my favorite sauce and toppings and it was done!

(all those dishes I used to organize for these pics? you could easily bypass all that and just toss the toppings into the pan right from the package or jar- and just eyeball measure it to your own family’s taste!)

Ready to save time and still have a delicious family dinner? Here is our easy Barilla® Pronto™ recipe to get you started:

That’s it, just two steps. Busy moms have a lot on their mind, so simpler dinners that are just as delicious as ever are a big step in helping us get some of our precious time back, especially when they don’t require much of our attention or focus. When I hear the ten minute beep, I’m back in the kitchen for the next step- adding in the toppings.

I’m time-starved, my family sometimes comes home just plain starved, and Barilla® Pronto™ can be on the table in about 15 minutes, feeding my family and saving me lots of time and work (and less dishes to wash after, saving more time and effort). Get inspired to create quick and simple, delicious meals for your family in one pan too by checking out the recipes at Barilla® Pronto™.
