Traditions make even the mundane more meaningful, and I’ve been creating our own family traditions for our daily life, and especially for our holidays. Christmas is my favorite holiday, so I love adding magic to it via our special ways of celebrating Christmas traditions.
One of my favorite places to shop this time of year is Hallmark, because so much of what they offer is in line with my lifestyle and values. They offer beautiful decorations, planners and notebooks to help me journal memories or organize my days, books and cards that are meaningful and inspire, and so much more.
This year I wanted to create fun memories with my sons while we counted down to Christmas, so we visited our local Hallmark Gold Crown and chose a variety of the itty bittys® Star Wars to give to their friends at school as stocking stuffers and gifts, to show them how much they care. We’ve been watching the first six movies to prepare for the release of the newest episode, so their whole lives now are Star Wars, and their friends are all excited about it too. My sons plan to get an itty bittys® for each fellow student, because they understand the importance of being a good friend and always including everyone.
We also selected a bunch to include in our own advent calender when we count down the 25 Days of Christmas next month (but they don’t know that yet, and I don’t want to ruin the surprise!). We focused mostly on buying the itty bittys® that donate to Toys for Tots, a foundation we support and are happy to see that Hallmark Gold Crown supports too… it’s another way we can help others and teach our sons to do so also.
