12 Children’s Books That Celebrate Dads

There’s nothing sweeter than those last few minutes before bedtime with your children. The bedtime stories, sweet songs, and tender snuggles make all of the woes of the day slip away. As much as I adore our nightly routine, I love that my husband gets to enjoy it also. Story time is his favorite time of day, too.

With Father’s Day quickly approaching, I wanted to find books that celebrate the role of fatherhood.

How to Babysit a Grandpa by Jean Reagan – Don’t forget Grandpa on Father’s Day! This humorous how-to features the special bond between grandpa and his grandchildren.

The Night Before Father’s Day by Natasha Wing – Similar to Twas the Night Before Christmas, this sweet rhyming tale helps us remember all the fun of Father’s Day.
