Celebrating Moms Everywhere With Children’s MOTRIN & Kelly Ripa #MyUnstoppableMom

I’m one of millions of women everywhere who give our all to do it all, because we love our families. I just partnered with Motrin to celebrate these strong women, including working with a particularly very well known, Kelly Ripa, to create a fun video. You can see it here: MyUnstoppableMom.com

Six blogging moms recently worked together with Kelly Ripa to create the video, and my son shared what he felt gave me the title of “My Unstoppable Mom”…a proud moment for me! It was a long day of working together on something new for both of us, a fun memory, but the best part was seeing what he had to say about me to Kelly Ripa. Knowing that my son values our time together, and finds me to be a loving mom…it fills my heart ♡… Also fun to know he likes catching bugs with me in our backyard!

A Chat w. Kelly Ripa about Bug-Catching Mom:

.

It’s an honor to know my son thinks of me as his My Unstoppable Mom. I mean, moms know our jobs never end. We work around the clock to support, love, and care for our kids, but hearing appreciation from our children makes it all worthwhile, especially during those moments you think you just aren’t doing a good job.

Being a mom is tough!

I was nervous about being a mom from the very start! When my oldest son was first born, and was handed over to me to take home, I couldn’t believe I was taking home a brand new human being without any rulebook or instructions… what was I supposed to do? I was already calling the pediatrician at 2 am the first night our son was home in a panic because I thought he was breathing funny (apparently common with first time parents).

Luckily, there are helpful books and wonderful pediatricians available around the clock for most of us so we don’t freak out, but I really admire and respect all those parents who did it before us without the internet and help…what did they do? They did what they thought was best, and didn’t give up. And that’s how I get through those moments of self doubt- I remember all those other moms everywhere that do their best and don’t give up, and it motivates me. We are a universal club, and we don’t quit.
